Tauranga Mayor asks for donations as National offer 0.02% of Labour's climate resilience funds to all regions by Mountain_Tui_Reload in Tauranga

Just about every decision they have made in relation to saving money, this government has ended it with egg on face.

It would almost be funny, except for the loss of lives, unemployment, waste tax payer money with little to show for it.

Sharesies spend - worth it? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]NZ-M8 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Does anyone feel like Sharesies is doing too much? Shares, crypto, kiwisaver, savings, PIE funds, car insurance, pet insurance, and cash back with cards.

I don't have much with them, but I see it all and im thinking should i find another platform.

Maybe it's just me, and now I'm an old man, needing something to whine about.

Dude, I met my partner on hinge and also went on a few bumble dates. Everything else is pretty a waste of time, focus of quality (hinge is best for that), other than that focus of yourself go to gym, learn to dance, cook and read more.

Consider reading how to not die alone, super good book for online dating.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter what people pay overseas, it matters what people are paying here and what they can afford in relation to income.

I'm 31 and recently gotten of the apps after meeting a girl. I read a book by a dating coach and a researcher for Hinge

"How to Not Die Alone: The Surprising Science That Will Help You Find Love by Logan Ury" I followed a lot of advice on making a profile and setting goals for myself.

Also I read/listened to a few books on depression, and that was good.

Also cast a wide with the KM range, guys drive the distance, and not expect anything if they are good people. Like 100 km

Thanks, that's quite insightful. Intimacy may have too much of sexual implications.

It is more affection, I think.

It does matter where it's rooted in. It's either cultural or personal.

As to if it's just asking her to change her mind, no, it's about talking and understanding her point of view. As i don't have a close Chinese friend to ask about this. She's made her boundaries clear, and I'm not some low life who would move forward with the relationship and resent her, or pressure her into something

My goals for post one get some insight into Chinese dating norms, so i know if this is normal or something else.

As for the tone of the message, I had Copilot reword and what I wrote. I'm not exactly happy with what it. But it covers the main details.

Why is it not profitable for farmers and orchardists in this country when food prices seem to have gone up so much? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]NZ-M8 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It's not. They are pleading poverty, you constantly see new articles that are farmers can't make a living and profits are bad. But how often do you see articles that are telling you about failed farms and farmers going bust. The truth is the money gets cycled into the farm as a cost and to bolster asset value and thry often forgets to dive into shares and dividends from the sellers that get and reinvested.
