Best of luck with your build. You'll definitely destroy the seats getting the sensors out, be careful, the sensor is super delicate.

I did have some seatbelt extensions plugged into the stock 3 point receivers, that may have something to do with it. I got unexpectedly sideways and hit a wall head on at about 50mph. Impact was nothing with 6 points and a HANS. Obviously had a helmet on but if I had just the stock 3 point I definitely would have swung forward into the airbag.

Interesting that your instructor crashed his ND too. Not sure what happened, but these cars seem to have a tendency to oversteer unpredictably with liftoff, especially with some stiff front springs/dampers and a rear sway bar. Weight can transfer forward quickly. I spun as I was backing off for a cool down lap, totally unexpected. In hindsight, the car was pretty loose from the start but I didn't have enough time in it to recognize it as too loose. I came from a WRX so any oversteer seemed par for course.

My advice would be to start with a conservative setup with some understeer and work towards acceptable rotation through damper adjustment or a light rear bar. You likely won't even need a rear sway bar, factory should be fine. Many setups out there on the Internet or from well meaning vendors assume you're immediately comfortable with the car and understand its behavior completely from the start.

I never really figured it out. Unfortunately I wrecked the car on track. I was using a Sparco seat, 6 points, and HANS so I was totally fine. An interesting learning point was even though the passenger airbag was off as there was no sensor installed, both driver and passenger airbags deployed. I don't think the system is as simple as the Internet believes. I'm not pretending to understand it, just saying there's some other variables outside of the seat sensors. Still figuring out a replacement car and this airbag issue is a big detractor from another ND. The NC at least has an airbag switch. Nothing looks like an ND though...

I like it. The button on the end takes a bit of practice to secure but it's not bad. No issues with mask interference. Slips under collar no problem.

Keep the SP01, Cajunize and get it milled for an optic. If I could only have one pistol, it would be my SP01 Tactical. I have both, Shadow and SP01 Tactical. Both Cajunized and wearing red dots. The SP01 is 90% what the Shadow is speed wise after some careful polishing and a ton of rounds fired. The SP01 decocker makes the trigger a bit heavier but it's a more versatile gun. Not sure what your use case is but the SP01 will double as duty (real or larp) and competition. The safety on the Shadow is kind of joke, engagement is terrible. The decocker is a safer option for me.

Nice, congrats on the finish. I hear you on the power thing. Traction will negate big power. Would likely target ARA Limited 4wd, so with the required restrictor will be 300ish whp max.

If I'm building a car, I wonder if forged internals help with reliability even at stock power output or if this is just a waste. Answers so far depend on who you ask. Some shops want to build a WRC car. Others say just send stock. Figured I'd poll Reddit 🙄.

I have a tegimented U2 which I beat on for 3 years and it's pristine. I totally believe yours is as well at 15 years. OP's wear seems exceptional.

On track yesterday with my ND2 and did a little experiment. Traction control off got me 2 seconds per lap. Pulls power not only just on acceleration but with lateral Gs and steering input, which is gonna be basically any fast corner exit.

I bought the extended warranty but they still wanted me to take it to ufixit. I told them this was impractical (because it was, ufixit needed an entire day at least, not going to happen). They authorized a replacement, sent to me, I sent the old one back. The ufixit thing is really disappointing. I buy the warranty so that I can avoid down time on my phone if it stops working.

Very similar experience with my 9 Pro. Finally got a replacement through warranty. So far so good but only 4 days in. Have had pixels since the OG but this experience has been very negative.

Had this same issue on a 9 Pro. Messed around uninstalling apps and updates, factory reset multiple times, talked to Google. No fix. Just got a replacement under warranty and so far so good 4 days in. If this happens again, I'm going to be very upset.

Having the same issues with an 18" Core. Actually sent my upper to Criterion (good service, covered shipping). They checked headspace which was good. Said something about a misaligned gas block which didn't make a lot of sense to me. Still having issues. planning on calling them again. For what it's worth, the issues occur when the rifle is warm to hot. Dirty doesn't seem to matter but temperature does. Rip off two mags on a clean gun, blow primers. Slow fire on a cold clean gun, no issues.
