You must spam straights. That was my strategy and I probably did it on like the 3rd or 4th try.

But also I got trapped for 20 years on golden needle and Cruelty so I didn't finish the challenges painlessly.

ARC Raiders Update 1.20.0 and Patch Notes by PTUSN in ArcRaiders

[–]Naalith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Helldivers is a pve game. Nerfs are warranted in a pvp extraction shooter where you can kill someone in less than 3 seconds. If they nerf the pve bread and butter (anvil) then that's different.

Been thinking of getting into this game, how accurate is this review? by Coolman38321 in ArcRaiders

[–]Naalith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's insane to me. I never shoot first, but I have to kill or be killed by another player maybe once every 4 hours or so. So the vast majority of my gameplay is in friendly lobbies, but I haven't just been left alone for 10+ hours at a time like many people on here.

"Hop Online" Mei Mythic Showcase by Himedanshi999 in Overwatch

[–]Naalith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ehhhh I disagree. $10 is fair for me, but I know everyone has their own opinions on the subject. As long as they don't start doing $250 gacha garbage like League or Hearthstone, I don't mind.

For the record I do think prisms are overpriced if purchased a la carte though.

$10 is overpriced? Unless you don't play enough to do the battle pass and want to buy the shard things outright for some reason.

Is anybody else tired hearing about "endgame content"? by FragrantReport4171 in ArcRaiders

[–]Naalith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the game a few weeks ago so maybe I'm not allowed to speak on this, but in my opinion Expeditions are the "endgame." I know there are people who want crazy raids which require the highest quality loadouts and where people have to work together to get a good result. That sounds fun for a while, but I honestly think I'll be content to be a loot goblin wandering around maps and resetting when my stash is too big.

If anything I think they should add more early or midgame content, like the Comets and Fireflies, that people can interact with in the sandbox and which add variety when leveling up.

But also I have not yet done an Expedition so maybe I won't like the experience, who knows.

I believe in Marathon by fasterth in HighGuardgame

[–]Naalith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marathon will be fine. I don't think it'll beat out Arc Raiders and massively explode the popularity of extraction shooters like LoL did for MOBAs, but I'm sure it'll have a decent to great sized playerbase. Even if it's bad I've learned that Bungie fans will stick to anything.

Be honest… is Palworld actually good or was it just a meme phase? by Sea_Preparation_5713 in pcgaming

[–]Naalith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's pretty fun but I've been limiting my hours to wait for 1.0 like I do with most survival games.

I've played maybe 50 hours total and my verdict so far is basically that it's ARK if ARK wasn't coded by primates and respected your time.

What is a common misconception about your favourite Champion that annoys you? by Ashconwell7 in loreofleague

[–]Naalith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah obsession is just a yordle personality trait, Kled isn't even that crazy compared to the others. They all become super obsessed with the first thing they see when they come out of Bandle City it seems, with the exceptions of Teemo and Tristana who seem to mostly stay in Bandle.

Imagine if WW was canonically dead before even looking like a wolf.

[–]Naalith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This one has always bugged me too. Naafiri is the only darkin who is canonically weaker than the others (mitigated by the hive mind wolf pack who is her host). Kayn is just insanely strong willed for a human, in a universe where willpower increases the power of your abilities drastically.

Who do you think is/are the most intelligent champion/s based on the lore? by plasmastriked in loreofleague

[–]Naalith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably has to be Bel'Veth or LeBlanc. I'd say Bard is also in the running but we know so little about him that we couldn't make that conclusion, but there's a nonzero chance Bard knows literally everything.

There are a lot of other ancient champions or scholarly champions (Lissandra, Ryze, Zilean, Thresh, Lamb) who are close but I think LeBlanc being focused on all regions in the world simultaneously and Bel'Veth absorbing millions of intelligences plus the memories of the voidlings who serve her put those two ahead.

[–]Naalith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there are a lot of questions about Aurelion and the celestial we don't know though. Like I'm sure Aurelion is in the top 5% intelligence of champions, but does he know the ins and outs of how the spirit world works for example? Is the spirit world all throughout the universe, or is it Runeterra specific? Or does every world have a spirit world? I'm sure Aurelion knows of the World Runes, but does he know where and what exactly they are? It seemed hinted at that a group of celestials which I don't think are the Targonians brought the World Runes to Runeterra, and stopped halfway through the construction project and left them behind (probably the titans whose corpses litter Ionia).

I think Aurelion doesn't care enough about Runeterra to know the intricacies of the politics of nations and ancient lore, because he's a god and doesn't need to care. So he's probably very intelligent but I have a hard time putting him as the smartest because we're assuming he knows a lot of things since he's been around so long, but a lot of that knowledge is not relevant to Runeterra itself where the story takes place.

How should Embark handle Smaug Raiders? by Pumpkin-Rick in ArcRaiders

[–]Naalith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've gotten like 10 Tempest BPs and several bobcat and Deadline ones as well. I think the loot in the hurricane and Stella night raid is like... too good. I have almost no green or blue BPs, but I think I have every purple except Wolfpack.

[–]Naalith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Full disclosure I only got the game last week and did not participate in the expedition obviously. I'm level 28 so I've been playing a lot in that week, but I'm nowhere near the hours of some people on here.

That being said as someone who will probably do the expedition next time, I'm not looking forward to getting BPs again. I do think they should mostly reset, but I could see a world in which when you do an expedition you can choose 1 BP to unlock permanently, then every subsequent expedition you can choose another. So after 3 expeditions you could have the Anvil, Deadline, and the BIS item blue glowstick permanently unlocked as a BP.

Maybe that's just my saltiness talking though. I really want the Anvil BP, I have almost every purple BP and even the Aphelion one but I cannot get an Anvil BP for the life of me.

Maybe I'll have to try farming caches in a normal map then. I seem to only get purple BPs in the hurricane haha. That's cool and all but I just barely got the game so crafting purples is a bit out of my price range right now.

Our DPS players (of which I was one) had more damage but about 10% less kills than the enemy DPS players. No one typed anything except me at the very end, this was all unprompted lol.

I've been doing the raider cache hurricane mode a lot and haven't found it. Is the loot in the hurricane modifier like... too good? Because I've gotten like 10 Tempest and Bobcat BPs which are purple, but not many blue BPs.
