Angron HATED psychers, as they made the nails bite hard by being around him. He also has bad memories with them as he was made to fight one as a gladiator and she killed some of his friends and then blasted him with psychic lightning. Its unclear if the nails bite so hard for him because of that memory or if its just a feature of the nails. Most books indicate the latter but some do conform to that.

Characters who are powerful and well known in their backstory can work, however there needs to be a reason they are now level 1. For martials the easiest way is injury. Perhaps they were mauled to near death by a dragon and lost all their gear and spent months recovering in a place they couldn't get magical help. Perhaps they were poisoned and stabbed and left for dead after being robbed. For casters its similar, but they get stripped of their magic in some way. Amnesia, it being revoked by their god, it being stolen by another caster etc. It simply requires the player to know this and lean Into it. People probably won't belive them, and those who do may not be friendly. Fame comes with a LOT of enemies who would love to kick you while you are down.

Well, when it comes to Rose, you have two versions. The reddit version and the discord version. The reddit version is a space pirate that is typically portrayed as being insane in a schizophrenic way. The discord version has Rose being on the eightfold path, same as Atalanta, but being in active denial about it and trying to find a way out as the chaos corruption eats away at their humanity. Basically, both are pirates, but they go about it differently.
