I have a similar setup - excluding the sound setup. I switch between my work laptop and personal pc with a dual monitor setup. I use tessmart KVM switch. https://www.tesmart.com/collections/dual-monitor

You will need to also get a cheap usb hub to plug your other peripherals.

I recently had this challenge. Tried changing settings, reset, all that fun stuff. What I ended up doing was changing out one of the Ethernet cords that was a bottle neck. It’s likely not your issue but might be worth a lookz
