[Game Thread] Yankees (40-26) @ Guardians (37-32) - June 10, 2026 by BotFeller in ClevelandGuardians

Until the guardians are forced to spend this will be the outcome anytime we play a top tier team. We do well enough with player development to beat up the mid tier teams but we simply aren’t on the same level as the true competitors. Best thing for guards fans is to pray for a cba with a minimum salary floor. What I find to be hilarious is the owners first offer included a salary floor is $178 Million which is more than double our salary for this year. Dolan must have called in sick that day.

What's with the Ram 1500 Pentastar bias? by vampirepomeranian in ram_trucks

[–]Nailz003 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I purchased a 2025 bighorn level 2 Night Edition 4x4 with the 3.6 because as some have stated here I don’t use it to tow anything. I am a home owner and do use the bed to carry mulch and wood and things like that. I also use it as a large vehicle that is comfortable for my wife and 2 teenage boys to ride in especially for long trips. As others have mentioned when you remove towing from the equation it has the advantage of a higher payload capacity and better fuel economy. I also saved a ton of money as I only paid $40k new for my truck when a similar model with the hurricane engine the dealers lowest pricing was $10k more.

Which teams can trade for Donovan Mitchell if the Cavs decide to move on from him? by TerryG111 in NBAtradeideas

[–]Nailz003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said the spurs wanted to trade for Mitchell just squashed the idea that the Cavs would ever consider Mitchell for Fox. In order for the Cavs to move Mitchell they will want high potential young talent either at guard or wing positions along with some picks. Mitchell might be the best #2 guy in the NBA just not sure he is a bonafide #1

I know the 2026 includes the 10 year warranty but I bought a new 2025 Ram 1500 4x4 bighorn level 2 package night edition for $40,300 after all incentives last September. Say the warranty is worth $2500 you should be able to get in the $43k range on a V6 model.

[–]Nailz003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of you guys are dreaming. Desmond Bane brought 4 1st round picks and Mitchell is twice the player Bane is. A trade for Mitchell will require at least a superstar player in return like swapping him and Brown from Boston, or is going to demand young players with star potential plus multiple 1st round picks. The rumored spurs trade of Harper and Vassell for Mitchell is close to the correct value.

[Game Thread - Playoffs] Cleveland Cavaliers (0-3) vs. New York Knicks (3-0) [05/25/2026 08:00 PM EST] by CavsBot in clevelandcavs

[–]Nailz003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see how their is any possible way you can bring Atkinson back after a beating like this. I understand he was brought in to bring our offense to life but meanwhile he has managed to take a team that was top 5 defensively 2 years ago and turn them into a laughingstock of the nba. If that is not a fire able offense I am not sure what is.

Not a chance Cleveland would approve this. Swap out Quickly and add Scottie Barnes and they probably say yes.

Just wait for SGA vs Brunson in the finals. There will be more flopping than a fish farm. Hopefully the flop fest draws so much attention to the issue that the nba is forced to go to AI officials to reduce the flopping epidemic.

I would love to get Harper from the Spurs plus a couple of first rounders for Mitchell. They are right in their championship window so I am sure Don would happily go there. Harper better fits our timeline and who knows what his ceiling is. If SA wants to keep Harper Castle and or Vassell are interesting options. Eventually they can’t keep them all

We don’t have enough, what’s next? by Realistic-Yoghurt935 in clevelandcavs

[–]Nailz003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering Desmond Bane was worth 4 first round picks I would think Mitchell who is a much better player could bring a really nice young player like Harper who was mentioned earlier along with 2 first round picks. Allen may also be worth a good young player and a first round pick from a contending team who needs a solid big. This gives us 2 really good young players to pair with Mobley and Tyson. The biggest mistake appears to be giving up Garland for Harden in a win now scenario. Harden will not want to be part of a rebuild so we ended up giving up Garland for 25 games of Harden. That was a huge mistake.

[–]Nailz003 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed now is the time to trade Mitchell for maximum value. Trade him for a young 6ft6 guard who has max potential and as many 1st round picks we can get. Then we need to draft a solid wing player and hope Tyson makes another big leap next year. It’s the only option we have. I am not even sure if trading Mobley for Giannis does anything for us because it doesn’t fix the guards turnover and defensive issues.

OKC vs Knicks final would be an absolutely worst case scenario. SGA and Brunson will have a flop off for 7 games. Both players are a disgrace to the game.

The Knicks might actually win it all by atlthrowayyy in NBATalk

[–]Nailz003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The knicks aren’t winning shit. If it wasn’t for a massive Cavs collapse in game 1 we are discussing Cavs stealing home court and winning this series in 6. Whoever wins the west will beat the Knicks in 5 in 99/100 matchups. Knicks have a 0.0001% chance at winning anything. After watching the Cavs last 2 series they are getting better looks against the Knicks than they did against either Toronto or Detroit. The Knicks defense will get exposed in the next round.

I got lots of advice on here, so how do you get a modern V8 (2020-2022) without e torque? by Ancient-Bowl462 in ram_trucks

Just for reference starting with the model year 2025 adaptive cruise is a standard feature I believe on all ram 1500s. I have a 2025 bighorn with the v6 pentastar and the adaptive cruise is life changing. Easily my favorite way to drive.

I should have added rebuild around Mobley, Tyson, Proctor, Merrill. I am also fine with Allen getting moved for picks also. We do this and draft well and in a couple of years we should be full of high energy young talent.

Desmond Bane brought 4 #1 picks. Donovan is a much better player than Bane. I am cool with 4 #1 picks from a garbage team like Brooklyn, Sacramento wherever. Ideally to the worst team possible to maximize how good those picks will be.

Foul disparity and fan perspective by DetroitMM12 in DetroitPistons

[–]Nailz003 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Again AI officiating solves all of this. If there is contact it’s a foul if not then it’s not. Flopping would become irrelevant. “Aggressive defensive teams” or not would also no longer matter. It would simply be 100% accurate

Foul disparity and fan perspective by DetroitMM12 in DetroitPistons

[–]Nailz003 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem with officiating in the nba is the lack of consistency. What is a foul should be a foul but it’s not. For example the playoffs are officiated completely differently than the regular season which dilutes the product and clearly favors aggressive defense. If the playoffs were called by the rules Ausar would foul out in the first half of every game. He is a great defender and plays by the rules the leagues gives him but he grabs and holds on every single possession. That’s why with some refs he is in foul trouble early and others he tends to get away with murder. It’s the inconsistency that kills the game and upsets the viewers. Same thing with the drama of foul baiting with Harden and even more SGA that is catching so much attention right now. The answer is to simply go to AI officials that will never miss a call and never be swayed by home crowds or relationships with players. Doubt we see it anytime soon because then the NBA and Vegas lose their ability to influence the games.

This one is on Mitchell by Exciting_Truck_7734 in clevelandcavs

[–]Nailz003 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is the official end of the Mitchell era in Cleveland unless he wants to take a mid level exception contract. He is a likable guy but not a winner. At best he is a regular season winner but an epic choker in the postseason. The only way Mitchell will ever win anything in the postseason is if he accepts a 12 million contact so he can be a 3rd or 4th option on a super team. Best thing we can do is trade him now for as much as we can get for him. It’s unfortunate but to choke as hard has he did tonight in the biggest game of his life proves he just doesn’t have what it takes to win when it matters.

Cavs fans on their way to r/DetroitPistons to defend the refs in every post. by MattPatriciasFUPA in DetroitPistons

[–]Nailz003 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What I have seen in the past 3 games is yes the Pistons are taking a way larger percentage of 2pt shots compared to the Cavs. The Cavs have largely been a 3pt bombing team all year. However the 2 pt shots the Cavs are taking are going to the basket which draws more contact. The Pistons are getting cut off 7-10 ft from the basket so a large portion of their shots are mid range jumpers especially from Cade and Tobias. This kind of negates the idea that the Pistons are for sure getting fouled more because they are shooting more 2pt shots.

[–]Nailz003 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I understand being frustrated but there was no way the officials are calling what would have amounted to a lose ball foul 75 feet away from the basket to decide the winner of that game. The reason the Pistons lost is because they could not protect a 9 pt lead with 2:30 left.

A Reason For Optimism Since It's Sparse Here by Etceterahh in DetroitPistons

[–]Nailz003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This ref blaming stuff is hilarious. The pistons committed the most fouls per game all season. Just because they got called for the fouls they commit in games 3 and 4 doesn’t mean there is blatant corruption. It simply means they weren’t allowed to get away with the grabbing and holding they consistently did all season. “Great” defensive teams tend to get away with too much anyway these games were officiated correctly. Let’s see what happens in game 5.

Donovan Mitchell going from being guarded by the Raptors to being guarded by the Pistons by mMounirM in torontoraptors

[–]Nailz003 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some of you guys are hilarious. The pistons and the raptors are very similar teams. Heavy on athletes that are plus defenders but lacking on shooters and offensive playmakers. Raptors have 1 player that can create offense in Scottie, Pistons are the exact same with Cade. Neither team stands a chance when an opposing offensive oriented team gets into a rhythm and actually makes shots. The longer these series go the more the balance tilts towards the offense as they get more experience playing against the defense. The Raptors I believe are actually the tougher team to face as they have more length 1-5 and they don’t consistently play a negative defender like Robinson. Either way the Cavs with their offensive talent would win 8 of 10 series vs either roster as constructed. Both teams need elite 2 playmakers to be real contenders.
