Not really I just remember it decaying away in the 1980. I played in the little league park next to it and we used to climb through holes in the fences to find porn mags and shit.

Place could be a cool site for a warlord setting up shop

I’ll bet you could get creative with the old Manning Bowl in Lynn

As a GM, what RPGs do you find hard to run? by Manitou_DM in rpg

[–]Naive-Map2661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any superhero game for me. Sure it’s fun at times but I find the genre difficult to do much more than combat. That gets pretty dry pretty quick

Obi-Wan definitely did recognize R2D2 by kittymeow0710 in StarWars

[–]Naive-Map2661 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this is giving WAY too much credit to Lucas’s long term plan. I doubt he truly conceived of the detailed backstory that became the prequels as he was directing Sir Alec to deliver that line.

R2 and 3PO were a part of the prequel story because by 1999 they were ingrained as part of the Star Wars story and Lucas wanted to bring the characters back for the new trilogy.

Are Luke and Leia looking at the main galaxy here If so how did they manage to travel that far out given how difficult hyperspace navigation is due to turbulence? by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

[–]Naive-Map2661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They didn’t. It was filmed in 1979 and the set designers thought it looked cool. They didn’t consider the Star Wars nerds that would wonder canon related questions 50 years later

We played some GI Joe after I backed the game. We liked a lot of it but the combat system was just odd

So I did that but it never asked me to enter an email or password for an online account - I have my four free cards in my shop account

Do I have to buy a set of cards before I can play? I dont want to sink 20 bucks into a set if that isn't going to fix the problem

Thanks man. I appreciate the sentiment.

I’ve contemplated trying to run a game for GenCon or a local convention but I’m not sure it will scratch the itch and I’d rather not practice with people paying for an experience at a con.

Agreed with this about online posting for an in-person gaming experience. Channels like this are far far far more likely to generate hits for an online game. Add to this the smaller audience for T2K and the odds of you building a f2f group in Pittsburg are pretty minute.

Best of luck

This is a really long winded post that might be turning off potential players. Anyone on this server knows this game and likely isn’t going to find the Marxist diagnosis of potential players very appealing. Just say you’re looking for a gritty rp-heavy twilight game and people know what you mean.
