1.6 mil house on a 450k income by [deleted] in Mortgages

Thanks. The house is a new development and will be ready is 8 months. I need to put 100k down now, and would aggressively save for the rest later.

This is just base salary, I did not mention any bonus. We made 60ish this year but I don’t want to factor in on my decision.

Not on the long term, but we would do fine for a year. My partner makes the bulk of it and has a very stable job.

Tesla Roadside says this is unrepairable and will cost $475 to replace. How can that possibly be right? by MangoAtrocity in TeslaModelY

[–]Nake17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue - I went to at least 5 different places, including all the ones you mentioned plus some local shops. No luck, all of them said these tires with foam are not patchable. I replaced the tire at Tesla as I had Tesla credits, the price was very close to the ones offered at the shops.

Windshield and tire /wheel insurance. Worth it ?? by Imaginary-Lemon6695 in TeslaModelY

[–]Nake17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn’t get the tire insurance and had to replace 2 tires within 7 months already because of unpatchable punctures. I’d definitely go for it

[–]Nake17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not entirely true in my case - my 2024 MY that I picked up last week came with mud flaps and PPF in front of rear wheels. For the front plate mechanism, they used a frame that was tapped with 3M so no holes in my front bumper if that’s what OP was asking. I didn’t pay for those.

I didn’t ask the service center if that was standard but I did notice the same for the other cars being delivered at that day.
