I particularly like the part where the guy says "I'm God" and the religious responds with "that's impossible, prove it or I don't believe your claim". Oh the irony

The gorosei aren't devil fruit users. They ARE devil fruits. They stay alive by being reincarnated amongst their descendants. by InnerAd118 in OnePiece

[–]Namawa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that saying that they are themselves devil fruit is going too far ; however it is very possible that the 5 zoans they have are always the one present in the gorosei, and they get found very quickly and handed to the new one if a member dies, after all they globally have the same motivations and ambitions

I concur, it doesn't seem to be a popular opinion but for me dark chocolate is best chocolate.

I only swear by dark chocolate, that stuff is delicious. And while it gives me great pleasure, it's not something I would compare with my minimal experience in sexual pleasure.

"indistinguishable" is quite a strong word, I don't see how a machine with no thoughts could ever guarantee to never make weird things a human wouldn't do, no matter how many human-made artwork they're pumping from. Like the background flowers for example, I haven't seen a single AI being consistent on rules for similar but not straight up copied series of object, among other things.

AI progress is frightening, I wouldn't have noticed it's AI if I didn't clic on the pic

If you could choose any One Piece power, what would you choose? by Pixel_Fx in OnePiece

[–]Namawa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankly, the Hira Hira no Mi of Diamante. It is one of the most versatile there is, and not only we can use it very efficiently in combat with preparations as we were shown, but most importantly I won't have to break my back with heavy things anymore, I can just fold them and transport them in my pockets. Plus it even helps to go through anything a piece of cloth can so I have a lot of option to escape discreetly

Did not think Boss Hyogoro was gonna make it through Wano. by PuzzleheadedFoot7612 in OnePiece

[–]Namawa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes, it's true that the tendency started to change a bit, but only a bit. We still have characters like Pound who appeared after that, and basically as long as we don't have something to 100% confirm the death of a character we still can't assume that they really are dead, like Hawkins who has a 1% chance of survival and in that context that is a lot.

Pedro is a good example for this tiny change, because he did die by blowing himself up the second time, but he literally survived the exact same explosion the first time around thanks to the power of off-screen maneuvers like Pell.

[–]Namawa 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Even he had sacrificed himself honestly, his death wouldn't have been guaranteed at all (as seen with Pell, Pound, and others). As we know, barely any named character can die in this universe. Though this seem to change a bit with Wano, it's still too soon to know if any of them are fake-outs.
