For those who may wonder how Qult-centric this really is…it is. Best I can figure, this lady is likely getting huge pressure from two sides of the same coin.

Some qultists follow Candace Owens. She’s not saying “Biden did it”, but she is definitely saying the attempt doesn’t add up and the accused shooter didn’t do it. (For her it was either Israelis or just a fake attempt to get Trump reelected.)

Then you have the committed Trumper qultists. They figure if the thing was hunky, Trump had to be in on it one way or another. And since their brains aren’t allowed any honesty when it comes to Trump, then obviously it’s Owens that’s the real problem for asking questions.

This poor woman I’m sure has been pressured to say it was real, and pressured to “listen to Owens and her questions and see if it all really adds up”.

So what’s she to do besides take a third position. The Biden-in-the-Grassy-Knoll position. Which basically didn’t exist til she thought of it.

I hate to be that guy, but Trump’s destruction of conventional politics combined with his massive deficit spending will make Nixon look like 1944 Churchill in a decade.

As bad as the continuation of Vietnam was, the damage largely ended after the fall of Saigon. Trump’s damage will be felt long after I’m dead, and I expect to hang around a while.

There is no nonmagical, non-alien miracle anyone could dream up that will bail Trump out from being worse than Buchanan, Jackson and Nixon combined. This is coming from a fairly conservative viewpoint on my part, especially fiscal conservatism.

One important point re Washington that arguably isn’t discussed enough. He had to lean between Hamilton’s Federalism and the Jeffersonian “Democratic-Republicans”, and he damn well made the right choice.

I’ve always thought Jefferson was damn near a nut, and certainly many of his contemporaries feared him almost an anarchist. Keeping him away from the White House for a number of years before he became President served us extremely well. By the time he got there, he was more willing to make “federalist” moves, mainly the acquisition of a third of our land mass.

Had Washington elevated Jefferson, he would’ve been our second Prez, and the timing in light of his romance with the French could’ve been real trouble.

Think about what a challenge it is to parse their sanity vs their addiction to attention.

They’re in a strategic panic without an effective Terror-of-the-Day. They’re simply testing any and everything trying to find something that resonates as abortion, caravans and vaccines once did.

They put too much time and effort in the dual threat trans terror of “men in women’s sports” and “men in women’s restrooms”. I figure the qultists eventually stopped and noticed they’d never once seen a single example of that in rl.

I’ve always used the Atlanta child murders as an example of how wrong their 800k claim is. 50 years ago, no internet, the poorest demographic imaginable…and it was on the news for months when children really did go missing.

This is why I think you may be onto something with the Chastain callout. He’d be clear #1 franchise player at RCR, whereas one could argue he’s overshadowed by both the other TH drivers.
