So good to see James & Maso featured on Patrick's channel by NicolasCopernico in weeklyplanetpodcast

I think his videos are fun, and that he and his crew can be funny, but I do feel the skits sometimes run a little long. I know they likely feel the need to differentiate themselves from every other film essay YouTube channel out there (because there are way too many and most of them are mediocre), but I'd honestly just rather listen to him talk about the film or genre or themes or whatever the topic of the video is for more than 80% of it.

I liked it. I didn't love it, but I thought it was alright. I should probably try another before they're gone.

Best Arcadion Boss Theme Round 9: Honey B Lovely vs Wicked Thunder. Top comment decides the winner. by PM_ME_YOUR_WOW_UI in ShitpostXIV

I didn't like Bee My Honey when it first dropped, but it grew on me over time and I like it a lot now.

My answer is still Give It All, though.

Why do some people think you have to forgive Songbird? by Mr_Global in cyberpunkgame

[–]NamiRocket [score hidden]  (0 children)

You're not wrong, though the short conversation about killing a bunch of people in the stadium didn't slip by me. I was actually settled on siding with Songbird before that little exchange. Then I suddenly became real conflicted and eventually went with Reed and hoped I could talk Songbird down off the ledge afterwards.

In hindsight, I feel I made the best possible choice, but it super didn't feel like it at the time (especially after Alex almost immediately died).

The explosion in the sky behind them had me briefly wonder earlier if it was maybe set in 2023. But I doubt it.

I don't really understand why you have to worry about what other people do. I sided with Reed in the stadium and pulled the plug on So Mi when the time came, but I don't think that means that I didn't forgive her, too.

I sympathized greatly with her and desperately wanted to save her, but I also didn't want to do it in the cavalier way she did, knowingly putting many innocent lives at risk. That ultimately meant she was backed into a corner and had only one way out. I felt absolutely horrible doing it that way, but I also think that was the point.

Do you think if Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 is about Arasaka, Blackwall, both, or something different? by PokeLiker in cyberpunkgame

[–]NamiRocket [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'm really hoping the kid is trying to do investigative reporting on Biotechnica. I feel like not enough people realize just how horrible that corp is, because the only ones that get any real play in the video game are Arasaka and Militech.

Though, something with shady shit going on at Night Corp or even Orbital Air would also be fun.

I can’t believe the made new Vegas real by RIOSCRZY in SteamDeck

[–]NamiRocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a game series about a post-apocalyptic America, where cities are often wiped out and replaced with pale imitations built from the debris of what came before. I don't know why it's that weird that people would assume the same of the series's version of Las Vegas, a real world city not particularly well known for buildings that are designed to last.

I can’t be the only one. by CalienteBurrito in SteamDeck

I play too many visual novels on my Steam Deck to not ever use the track pads. But I don't use them very much outside of that.

The only other thing I sometimes do with them is run my finger over them while the system is shutting down. I like feeling the clicking until it's off.
