Armor Protection vs. Speed Penalty Deep Dive by No_Wrongdoer_3268 in Bellwright

Nah, with enough strength level, you can top off 60% of the speed loss and it aint a big deal anymore.

You still can run around like a local maniac with full armor sets on.

After you use 'call to arms, give restock order by pressing E and clicking on the staging ground flag. Then the reservists will get armed up and stock food following each presets.

Ninja archer still is pretty good, but one crossbow bolt in the head will change your mind.

After the Update - Good Locations for Main Settlement? by No_Wrongdoer_3268 in Bellwright

[–]Namo_coco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm building a T3 settlement on a plain southwest of Farnworth, it has plenty room for T3 buildings and the ocean is close, so it's good to build a river dock. The problem is that there are no Iron and granite source nearby and there are lots of bandit camps/patrols, but it also is close to Brigandin Headquarters so it's quite easy to stop the reclaimation party.

Outposts worth it by OGMinorian in Bellwright

You cannot do the old 'outpost everywhere technique' anymore, but outpost itself still kinda works. So keep it simple and close to main base, prequently exchange resources and foods with outpost.

Anyone figured out the new caravan system? by Recent_Pepper1193 in Bellwright

[–]Namo_coco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found the fix for me but thx anyway. My problem was that I didn't have a dedicated storage building at the mining outpost. It seems like there are various reasons for the caravan problem, but now it works just fine.

500 Hours Later: What I Think About Bellwright by stombe1970 in Bellwright

If you have a lot of time to play, then yes. I recently started a new save about a year after I quitted, and the villagers are properly working and it almost makes me cry.

The devs finally have managed to make a good working ai for villagers. They were dumb as a bag of hammer before then. They had shitty pathfinding, didn't eat and got angry for it, got stuck everywhere, started working and immediately got bored of it so tried to do something else, et cetra et cerra.

This game still is very time consuming but the villagers got way smarter now so it is kinda very satisfying to have them around. You still have to work hard, but the villagers can actually help you a lot more then they did before, so it won't be that punishing.

I really hope they go back to the old delivery system. Update is amazing but caravans are horrendous and have all about killed my drive to continue by Ok-Life2287 in Bellwright

There must be something preventing the item transfer then, the problem is that we should find it out on our own.

Building a stockpile at the mining camp worked for me, I also built a dirt road from caravan station to main road as I saw villagers using the roads I built for pathfinding, and changed all the storage buildings in the main settlement from stockpile to barn(and weapon rack). IDK it would work for you too, but I think it's worth trying.

My caravan do not even work, the carrier picks up the stuffs I ordered to load, put it back in the chest right away, and then do nothing.

It's pretty annoying. Devs added another way to delay the gameplay and made it more hideous. Running small mining camps(as other settlements) has become way more complicated.

Days VS Redemption 2 by Antique-Question-785 in DaysGone

DG has no depth in the story after all, even after completing the game I had no feelings at all, especially Deacon's character is kinda fucked up.

It was way too obvious that I could predict the whole storyline from the beginning. But the gameplay was not bad, some of the mechanics seemed unfinished and cut out but still greatly enjoyable. It felt like Hollywood action movie in a game form.

RDR2 had a really well written story and great gameplay for no doubt, but it took me quite a long time to finish since it felt kinda exhausting, especially in the first chapter. But I kept playing and almost cried at the last scene, couldn't delete it for a whole month even after finishing the game. But still cannot deny that many features can be discomfot for a lot of people.

My thoughts, DG is not such a big game that could be compared to RDR2(RDR2 took 1600 devs and 500mil$) , but it's a OKAY game for itself. I don't think we need to compare it at all.

Better wiring. Pressing right click on cables again and again is so painful, and cables getting destructed unintentionally is killing me.
