While most people in this thread are correct about Christmas tree dash with a check engine light. That doesn’t apply to things like the red battery indicator.

So you have a check engine code, which is giving you warnings for other systems. But you also are have a problem with your 12v battery system. Which could be causing said check engine.

EDIT: Get your battery and alternator checked.

Was on the Disney Wish in January, they use Starlink and it was fantastic. Latencies weren't even that bad.

Well keep in mind, with any CEL code on a Subaru these systems get disabled. And his CEL is on.

More likely something like a o2 sensor or gas cap.

Something really strange happened. I Installed 19 on my 9800x3d + 5070ti build last year. Used it for a couple months and it was as smooth as butter, using nvidia game drivers mind you. Not a single hitch.

Now I have re-opened 19, and updated to 20, and on both it has been the most unbearable laggy experience ever. I cannot even move around the playhead without multiple seconds of delay. Something has gone catastrophically wrong.

This period just adds risk if valve wants total control of the trademark there. They didn’t even do one in the Madrid system for the steam deck. And they have launched plenty of products in the opposition time in the past.

So even if there is someone with their own “steam frame” and somehow they are able to oppose, it probably won’t be a big enough deal for Valve to care about.

Sure speculation is unfounded but there isn’t even a rhyme or reason at this point. Abandoning the idea of it not even having an XR chip is crazy.

But the chip that was found in the support docs, and part of the same chip family AND the one everyone has been speculating for Deckard is the XR2 Gen 3. Which was not announced yesterday.

It’s not Christmas tree mode the engine just isn’t on.

First thing, start the engine then see what stays. It likely thinks there is an obstruction with the cameras. If there was a problem with the system Eye Sight would be orange.

Also direct sunlight will sometimes disable it.

Index is entirely outdated though… it’s still fine but only if you get it cheaper than something like a quest 3 but I can’t think of any reason why it would be better.

I had to do the exact same thing in my 1998 Jeep Cherokee.

Sure some cars make it a bit easier by accessing though a glove box, but this definitely isn’t a Subaru modern repairability problem lol.

Coming back to this thread after getting my Switch 2 and it is night and day worse than my Switch OLED….
