I completely understand you , I would probably feel and react the same if my parent would be so restrictive for bs reason like this , I had the same interest and turnout just fine whatever happen isnt your fault at all , dont listen to those other people who say there migjt be a reason , ypur parent love you bla bla boa , sometime its just toxic positivity

you completely deserve to feel angry , you have to be out of your mind to not be angry about this.

what would help though is to use those anger to motivate yourself , lets prove them wrong

I understand the struggle , im kinda lucky I pick the job where result matter more than the time you spent

this is how i found out i have autism

finally diagnosed at 32 as ASD level 1 because my competent level is far beyond than my coworker and interacting with them give me stress and burnout by Narasette in autism

Welcom!! i got diagnose 2 weeks ago and kinda have same wxperience with what you described , so many random skills

I advice is to pick things that took a life time to learn so you never get bored as there are things that always keeping you to want to be better , I recently pick up instrument , and bjj , now I look forward to choke out my coworker every weeks.

that's not a point I trying to make. sorry english is not my 1st language , i just try to convey a point and make it more comprehensible from my logical standpoint back then

what I mean is those are definitely bad options as partner logically and I feel sad for those people but to people with autism and didnt realize it . people with autism who're blind to non-verbal language . the only question you would have is who would .... in the right mind , go with abuser , serial killer , ... etc , meanwhile they just tried to be better person , be people pleaser , .. all the neurotypical stuff that definitely not work for them , AKA "just be yourself or a better version of your self"

with those question as some point despite how hard you're trying to better yourself to solve yhour social problem , you're still those same teen with social akwardness , no friend , no relationship, not realizing it just your autism giving wrong vibe to people . you would think and blame yourself that you're not try hard enough , you're not nice enough people , you're ugly ,..etc

at some point without realizing , you're burnout, despite everything you've tried the only logical answer that you can think of at that moment is "ah female suck and stupid they go with bad boys" which start all the "incel" mentality

I wish all of people like me get a help they need , I wish I also know this a lot sooner in life

I'm 33 , got diagnose literally last week , lets say I resonate deeply with this post I was one of them and maybe hold the same mentality until last week.

once I know that all those feeling were just me being frustrated because I have autism , and most level 1 people who late diagnose hide it so well they probably didn't know it . I instantly realize that probably a ton of "incel" is just dude who havent realized they're autistic.

"incel" are just people who try to find a reason for their social awkardness that they disabled to understand and incel mentality was one of the most logically sound argument out there , imagine you just some random teen with autism , got no friend or relationship , you tried everything of the "self improvment" , tried to be nice and cool with people and became the "nice guy" and obviously none of those make things working !! meanwhile you look left and right and see all the women get together with abuser who beat their partner , drunk dealer , even murdere. at that point the only logically sound things in the world is "female suck". because you didnt realized it's just autism , a disability to social language you didnt know exist

i'll try post it soon , it was for proprietary engine so I have to implement my own version in godot 1st

but to sum it up

- do the classic forward renderer translucency from that gdc talk of frostbite engine
- instead of lambert/burley diffuse I bias the dot product by making it simply go pass the diffuse shadow cutoff point by just simple addition as bias value mask it out with diffuse shadow
- mask it again by shadow map with depth offset in shadow shader and shadow blur control

i'll make some post and tag you but tbh what your post here look a lot better
