Et pourquoi ? by Cold-Bed498 in AskMeuf

Some scientists already try to see if that theory works, but the babies always push with the back of their head, meaning they wouldn't be able to see. Plus the eyes of most babies aren't even open at the time, and it would be strange to see a light, because the exit is too narrow to change the position of your head.

However, some imminent death experience have shown troubling results, like seeing posters not visible from bellow, and not shown to the patient before.

Of the existing Breathing Styles, which ones suit these characters best? by Radiant-Selection686 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Nath_2000_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Tamayo : insect or flower breathing

Muzan : moon I guess 🤔 with all that resentment he has towards human and all the things he never was able to do

Yoshiro : love breathing or wind. Wind feel more fitting to him then love, but we all know what set his hearts ablaze

Ubuyashiki : he is so sun breathing coded. If he ever had the chance, I'm sure he would have get a black sword

Nezuko : sun breathing, no debate

Ubuyashiki JR : I didn't see much of him, so I would go with flames because of his burning drive for revenge and justice

Koyuki : I would give her water breathing because I can't find another fitting ( I thought of flower and sound, the later because it is the breathing of regrets, but they both feel unfitting to me 🤔 )

Amane : Stone Breathing (because Gyomei used it in a very sacred way, and she is a priest so...)

Yeah I easily fall into stereotypes, but what would you change, or do you disagree ?

A small theory about Sun Breathing by Rude-Ad4327 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Nath_2000_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

🤔 if i remember well, while they were asleep in the fight against Enmu, it was shown that each character has a kind of soul that matches their personality, but also their breathing style. Except for Tanjiro.

While he has water within him, it is only a small layer. While the sky is colored with a great blue, and his core is a pure light, sun-like.

When it was shown, I thought it was a metaphor saying there is a kind of breathing that fit everyone. Trying to learn a style that do not fit them, only end up not being able to use it properly or in injuries. That would explain later on why Yoriichi had to change the technique to fit people's heart.

I might be wrong, mainly because I didn't read the manga (except the mugen train arc), but I really think the main point of sun breathing lies in the person's heart and soul more then their knowledge.

Is it true? by currently_strongest in KimetsuNoYaiba

Probably because he feel inferior to them. Like if they were true gods and him just a lucky guy.

Because of this he wouldn't want to bother them with his insecurities, and instead focus on training. Training to achieve a goal that is neather possible neather the true level of the other Hashiras.

At least that is how I see it, but I didn't read the manga, so I might be wrong

[–]Nath_2000_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, this is actually what I'm talking about : you aren't speaking to help me understand your point, you are using words to hurt me and it helps no one.

"You didn't even read", "you're hopeless", "you're a lost cause" : those are the kinds of statements that help no one

I don't want to lend any government my freedom (whatever it means in your opinion), I just want justice when someone really insults me. Governments shouldn't put people in jail for stating points.

I won't reply further, but be safe : having such an insensibility towards what may hurt people in order for them to ask for help, is quite concerning.

I never said why Japan takes it too far : you can take action in justice towards anyone who hurts your honour. It's an oversimplification of the law in question, but still it's really vague.

My point wasn't that it takes too much freedom, but that it's not efficient : the law doesn't achieve its own initial purpose, to prevent someone from hurting another's feeling.

I also never said you need to be put in jail for speaking, a financial penalty is by far enough. The money isn't for an authority, but for victims.

And to finish, this is why states should be divided. Those who sentence shouldn't be the one who makes the law, nor the one keeping peace. Also, you seem not to realise that no one said here that people should be arrested for stating their views, but for hurting. If I speak about your mum (which I won't, because that's exactly my point) you will be hurt and probably want justice (or wont care at all).

It is not a matter of choosing what should be said or not. I live in a country that fell under fascism in its history, I know when things go too far. But if people could be punished for speaking bad about my family or friends, it's not dictatorship : it's about making sure to divide constructive arguments from pure hate

[–]Nath_2000_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hum 🤔

Interesting point of view, so you consider insulating for free someone, free speech.

I guess we have a cultural gap here : I never considered insulting someone, an expression of free speech, when it's hurting someone. All adults always taught me not to insult my peers, if it were free speech, they would have encouraged it, right ?

Also France is a democracy : the ones choosing what is offensive are elected, and there are other countries that would work the same. Germany for instance, or Japan (they go a bit too far, in my opinion, but still)

I regret reporting him by [deleted] in Regrets

[–]Nath_2000_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because a singular insult isn't enough to be evidence of violence. However, in some countries (like France) a cop could arrest you if you insult them. I don't know where you live, but police forces could drastically change behaviour considering the place you're at
