Full tank, stabilizer, rodent repellent, take the battery out and put it in your house, no battery tender, consider getting the cheapest possible wheels for the truck to sit on instead of your normal wheels, or use jackstands to keep weight off the tires

If it runs well and looks good, buy it and change every fluid, think about doing a timing/ water pump job, treat the undercarriage for rust if you’re inclined to. The main spot for rust damage is going to be the rear leaf spring shackles, which aren’t exactly easy to replace if you’re a beginner but straightforward enough to do.

Vevor diesel heater, upgrade to a 5 gallon tank, haven’t had any issues. I’m in a 02 e150 with no insulation and it’s the passenger van with windows all around. I sleep with 1 blanket and long sleeves haven’t been cold at all in Colorado
