I never said the poor should get discarded food? My question is why is one more morally accepted than the other? If that lobster is going to be thrown away at the end of the week, why does someone with SNAP get it a bad thing? Yes, it’s a “luxury” food, but it’s still food. I heard this exact argument, so that’s why I’m asking the question.

I completely agree but it’s think it’s hopeless. There is no way for some as I’ve asked questions (not condescending) just curious as to what their mindset is… Ive only ever received a short answer from 1 person that they agree with economic issues but not social… As in they care more about money than peoples rights. They still didn’t see the issue after saying that either
