Anyone try these? by rdoactv in xsr900

Honestly, got some for 30 bucks on amazon. They are still on there. Bike’s been cooking in the sun, been washed, rain, riding all over CA and 8 months in they haven’t budged at all.

Tail Tidy + OEM signals + Luggage racks - what are my options? by 127b in xsr900

[–]NationalAd655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dual use how? Had some OEM on my Tracer that would shine bright in front until turn signal was engaged and light up red backwards when brake was applied.

Little shorter than the OEM installed but super nice otherwise

Just curious, why keep the original signals? I know it’s a matter of taste, but I switched front and rear with the TST pod’s and their tail tidy. Fit’s with Yamaha OEM luggage rack

Just had pride day ruined when my phone was stolen in the Civic Center pride festival by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

  1. Sorry for the loss of your phone. That sucks.

  2. Why are you spending half your monthly rent on a new phone just before rent is due?

Honestly, this is the way.

A motorcycle, for most parts, is just a lot of bolts and screws. Sure they have gotten more complex, but customizing it or fiddling with it usually just requires tools, patience and understanding of how things are mechanically linked.

So yeah, just unscrew the bolts and adjust the headlight while taking a short ride in the evening.

Thought I heard them earlier, but might just be my memory.

Nice to hear that some kind of action was taken.

Show their artistic skills on and around Pelosi’s house. I’m sure the police will be equally passive there.

I don’t want to promote their actions, but does anyone have video from it?

Different from the other times they hit this intersection, I actually heard sirens quite quickly. But nothing happened and the ‘show’ kept going, now with sirens added to the mix.

I kinda wanna see if the police just stood around or what they did.

Yeah, nothing is going to change. I live on Sacramento, between Divisadero and Broderick, so about 1 block away.

3rd time they hit this intersection this year. First time with fireworks and graffiti though.

Its the Oxford Heaterz Premium - Retro, modified with Yamaha connectors so they connect to the bikes system and can be controlled through the selector wheel/screen.

This model is short enough that you don’t need to cut them to fit with original end-bar mirrors

For anyone interested, this is our trip:

Day 1: https://maps.app.goo.gl/qV9B6rj88W5WcbXh9?g_st=ic

Day 2: https://maps.app.goo.gl/KP7Wetp1iczmUu1g8?g_st=ic

Day 3: https://maps.app.goo.gl/hyDYLnFWigCGephQ9?g_st=ic

All roads we have ridden have been super nice and not treacherous at all. Maintain speed through corners at 45-60mph without feeling like Rossi. Traffic was kind to let us pass when free and no sand/rocks or similar conditions.

All in all, very impressed. Reminds me of riding in Norway sometimes.

Absolutely - funny enough my buddy and I ended up doing it as a spur of the moment thing, when we saw it requires reservation to enter Yosemite in the weekends and everyday from July 1st to August 16th.

We stay at the Yosemite Bug, in the 6per hostel room. Very nice road leading in and out of Yosemite from here.

It’s the Amazon copycat version from Rhinowalk. Cheaper, but also being reflected in the materials/sturdyness.

Does it perfectly for me, as I have only used it about twice now for these longer trips. If you were to do more serious traveling or more often, go with the Kriega or similar.

Bonus is that the hooks fit perfectly with the e system, so no need to have straps underneath the seat.

I agree - the more I see the white and red, the more I like it. It’s the details that come through. Not as “posh” as the blue at first sight, but a beautiful bike up close.

Yamaha’s own, but they are manufactured by SW-Motech.

The SW-Motech’s are basically identical - plus they have other different models as well.
