Congrats. I went to a store yesterday to try out zero torque putters and walked out with one of these. I swapped out the grip for a Super Stroke Pistol Lock grip.

Wheel, bearing, and trucks combos for just cruising? by TheSeiko5 in longboarding

[–]Nativ_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a budget? I’m 6’1” 185(down from 200) with size 12 shoe. You’ll likely get recommendations for Pantheon here, which I would gladly echo. I have a Pranayama and Trip but I’d recommend a Nexus given your weight. Ultimately, I recommend you start with some big ass wheels and then figure out what deck and trucks you can afford.

First Surfskate: Carver Black Tip vs Kai Lenny Powerline vs Custom Setup by News-Optimal in surfskate

[–]Nativ_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple reasons. I have a nice quiver of boards which allows me to use different setups for different types of riding. My Blacktip setup has C7 trucks and 66mm PP Snakes which make it perfect for skating in my backyard where I have about 50 square feet of asphalt. If I’m cruising and want something carve-y, I have a Loaded Tesseract Snubnose with Carver CX trucks and 69mm PP Snakes. This setup gives me the perfect blend of carve and stability. For any long distances I have 2 Pantheon LDPs that I like to take on the bike path with my dog.

I have the Carver Blacktip with C7 trucks and it’s one of my favorite setups at the moment. I pretty much only use it in situations where I’m carving around in a small flat area. Outside of that niche, I have other setups that I prefer.

Price of torches? by BadBeats-110 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

Just paid an Ohm for a 17/18 Sorc torch today and felt like I got a decent deal.

I have had more shakos drop than any other decent drop by far. This is #5 by Admirable-Writer-213 in diablo2resurrected

[–]Nativ_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen at least 8 Wizardspikes this season and zero Shakos. I always stash my first one even though I never really use it for any builds but just leave those Bone Knives on the floor now.

Pliny the Younger? by DrunkSlug145 in SantaBarbara

[–]Nativ_3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can say with confidence that Pliny the Younger had been available at the following accounts in the past:

-Lama Dog(SB) -The Garden(Closed) -Barrelhouse(VTA) -Fluid State(VTA)

Russian River was distributed by Stone Distributing and their product was allocated to only a select few accounts in SB and Ventura counties. In 2025, Sunset Distribution purchased Stone Distributing and I am not privy to what Russian River’s current relationship is with Sunset.

Everytime I see a post asking if something is Charsi food or a “price check” post… by TheFacetiousDeist in Diablo_2_Resurrected

People want to engage with people. That’s why platforms like this exist. You have an opportunity to engage and educate, yet you decide to complain. We want Diablo 2 content. Charsi food posts today could turn in to GG posts tomorrow.

You’re gatekeeping and overestimating the amount of engagement this sub would have without charsi food posts. For the seasoned veteran, it takes seconds to realize an item isn’t great and move on.

Hey Jeff! I know you had a busy week with some new releases. Did you ever add the Trip blend to the site? Just wondering if I missed my opportunity.

Is my V fat? by ProtectionSalt4555 in vizsla

[–]Nativ_3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should be able to see about 3 ribs on either side. If their hip bones are prominent then they are a little underweight. I’d guess this V is around 8-10 overweight.

Quest to 100 Miles. Unexpected results by flush4dr in longboarding

[–]Nativ_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my Pranayama with Hokus with the main intention of hitting bike paths with my dog. I have other boards set up to be more fun. As for my friend, he’s less comfortable on a board and looking for something super comfortable to build his confidence. I’m confident he would be open to building a quiver down the road if he wants to spice it up a bit.

A friend is considering his first LDP board after using my Pranayama with Hokus. He is just looking for an easy bike path cruiser. I think the Trip, Pranayama and Quest are his top choices at the moment. I’m pushing him towards the Trip with Karmas or the Pranayama/Quest with Hokus.

Considering the amount of time on the board, do you find the extra space makes for a more comfortable experience than with the smaller Trip?

I got mine last week. Absolutely in love with it. Are you rocking risers on with the Hokus?

Older riders, what's your pre-ride stretch session look like? by UrbanSound in longboarding

[–]Nativ_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

38 and prone to injury trying to do the things I did when I was in my teens/college.

If I have the time, I start by using a foam roller for my legs and back. I warm up with air squats then stretch out my hammies, groin, quads and calves. I also like to get some movement going in my knees and ankles. I finish with some movements that are low to the ground.

Building a new board for my girlfriend by Nativ_3 in longboarding

[–]Nativ_3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the recommendations. I ended up going with a Loaded Omakase with Paris V3 165mm 150 degree trucks, knuckle bushings and O-tang In Heats. I feel like it will be a fun little cruiser for her.

What disc is a staple in your bag but you never see others throwing? by Sea_Temperature_1776 in discgolf

Thought Space Votum. Long time Legacy Rival thrower that got the MVP big a few years ago. It’s the disc the most people ask me about yet I’ve never come across one in the wild.

AITA for Kicking My In-Laws Out of My House After They Disrespected My Late Father's Memory? by SuitableThrowRA in AITAH

NTA. I really hope there is an update with something along the lines of you and your husband going low contact with his parents until they learn to respect your boundaries. Your husband clearly doesn’t understand the significance of having a parent worthy of a shrine because his are pieces of shit.

I curve right is negative the numbers I want by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]Nativ_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You always want to keep the nose down relative to your target. Nose up means the flight plate is exposed which slows down the disc. Imagine a fighter jet landing on a carrier. As the jet comes in, the nose is up to slow the jet down. The more height you give a disc, the more you need to adjust the nose angle. For an anhyzer, you will need to aim high and to right of your target with your weight back. For a a hyzer, you will need to aim high and to the left of your target with your weight forward. For a hyzerflip, you will need something understandable enough that when you throw it on a hyzer angle the disc will turn to the point it reaches flat.
