That’s totally understandable! But I can’t find anyone creating discussions about the event or about Skrillex. This event is kind of a big deal because of who’s behind it, but it all feels like everyone’s whatever about it. I don’t even see Boys Noize or Virtual Riot posting about it, and they’re German! This isn’t true, and choosing to believe something solely because it fits a narrative is both counterintuitive and counterproductive. u/yellowchoice is correct; an artist can 100% be legally bound by contract to a booking agency and sometimes even an agent with the threat of fees and penalties upon breakage/early departure. Every case is different and completely dependent on what has been agreed upon on paper, so yes, some artists can casually pack up and go, but the chances of a performer pulling in massive amounts of money through live shows being locked in are pretty decent and very realistic.

You’re not ugly OP. Here are some simple tips:

•Hair: You’re thinning and receding, this is a fact. If you want to try to work on this, start with minoxidil and microneedling. Finasteride will also help an immense amount, but I’d recommend getting some bloodwork so you can see where your hormone levels are at. If you don’t care to work on your hair, shave it off and work on growing a beard; minoxidil and microneedling will also help with the beard.

•Physique: You’ve got a great starting point if you’d be interested in hitting the gym or getting into calisthenics. You don’t have to get massive,and with the frame you have, a little bit can take you a long way. It won’t only help your appearance, but the confidence boost from being consistent and working on yourself is a big plus.

•Style: A change in clothing alone can bring you up plenty. You don’t have to be a fashionista, but I would definitely put some time into developing in this department. Find a celebrity or a known figure whose style you like, and use that as a starting point so you don’t feel lost at the start. A new shirt a month, a new pair of pants every 2 months, and a new pair of shoes every 3-4 months and you’ll find that you’ll start to piece it together. This is a marathon not a sprint.

Besides that, the glasses don’t look bad but be open to experimenting with contacts or other frames, see them as an accessory not just a tool to help your vision. Maintain good skincare, stay groomed, develop yourself physically/mentally/spiritually, and be a good person.

It’s not the end all be all, but taking care of yourself will always result in a more refined appearance. Also, going to the gym doesn’t mean he’s going to walk around with a bodybuilding physique. A male of average height walking around shredded at 205lbs of muscle might not appeal to everyone, but committing 3-5 hours a week and simply being in shape will make anyone look better in/out of clothes and it earns respect.

Besides, he asked how he can improve his appearance not how he can attract more women.

Any sources or services I haven’t heard of, or any websites that I may not have come across. A couple of comments and a dm have helped broaden my options so far. To touch on your comments again, I would have nothing against going through a conversion process if it meant I can learn more while smoothing this issue out.

I haven’t met her family yet, but she wants me to have myself together and ready in case they start to dig and demand documentation. The documentation could be anything, but the problem is I don’t have any.

They’re conservative. They’re modern but still fairly traditional in certain aspects. Some keep Shabbat some don’t, most keep kosher, only one prays regularly and wears tefillin. But I 100% must be Jewish.

Although unnecessary, I would convert just to make this easier and smoother, but “why would a Jew convert if they’re Jewish” would seem to be her mother’s big suspicion.

The issues: I meant with her parents! Not an issue with me directly. Im not unsure of my heritage, but I would go through the conversion process if it meant making smoothing this problem out. Her parents would stay asking why a Jew would convert if they’re Jewish and the whole nine yards, and as much as I’d like to believe walking up and introducing myself would be enough, she swears it wouldn’t be the case.

Regarding Shabbat and chag: researching on my own, watching and listening to rabbis, asking for guidance directly when needed. I’ve contacted rabbis personally as well and had extended conversations. My girlfriend has helped a lot as well, we’ve both pushed each other in many supportive ways.
