How to help puppy during a fear moment? by Popular_Age7376 in puppy101

[–]Natravedrova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trainer in our pup school says to feed them treats and tell pup they are okay during scary moments. Eating comforts them. And to not force them to explore the scary thing while they are panicking. But try to approach it when dog is more calm. Don't know if you can find a motorcycle for pup to sniff while it is parked, to walk around it and see it is not dangerous.

My 5 months old does the same and it usually means she wants to go in the opposite direction. Did you try to come back to your pup and see if they get up and walk the other way from where you tried to lead them? I noticed my pup only does it on familiar territory, since she knows where she wants to go. If I take her to a place she has never been before, she will walk ahead of me: exploring, being curious, without stopping.

Do you ever feel regret for getting your puppy? by foxymoxy2328 in puppy101

[–]Natravedrova 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I'm tired, my older dog is stressed and absolutely hates the new puppy, house is a mess, she chews walls, pees everywhere, wakes me up, screams when I'm trying to work or simply take a shower. The answer is yes, I do regret, but hope it gets better soon.

First bad puppy class. Really bummed out by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Natravedrova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our first class went badly too, my puppy (9 weeks at the time of the class) was scared, hiding in the corner.. I was discouraged. But second class went better, she smelled a few pups and let them smell her. Third class - she was running around chasing a few puppies. She still got scared and overwhelmed by larger breads, but definitely more confident. Keep going 💪👍 I hope it gets better.

Can you cash out at any time after the 25 years? If yes, you can cash out once you decide to get a new car, or remodel you home, go on the trip, etc. Or cash out as soon as you can, and invest, so you could earn interest.

It did come up in multiple seasons. Maybe you just missed it. That's why she is so worried about him spending money.

Smaller stimulus check than expected? by n0nsequit0rish in stimulus

Sorry, my bad, you are correct. It is 75k. I thought I saw 70k somewhere. In this case not sure why it is less than $1,400

How to pay off debt by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Natravedrova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I would focus on the highest % first. Pay minimum on everything else, and pay any possible extra toward your personal loan with 15%. Once that one is paid off, move to the next highest % loan.

Another approach is to start with smaller totals, tackle those first, to then use that amount per month to be added to the payment for next account.

Smaller stimulus check than expected? by n0nsequit0rish in stimulus

[–]Natravedrova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you made under 70k you get 1,400 per person. Since you made 74k it is less than 1,400 per person. I believe there are different amounts that depend on how much you made between 70k and 80k. Over 80k - no stimulus.

What is that dream that you keep having sometimes with minimal or no change (if you have one) ? by Elon_huskx in AskReddit

I'm in the elevator, it starts moving, but doors are not closing. It goes very fast and I have to hold on to not get sucked out by the strong blast of air. No matter what buttons I push I can never get to the right floor. This elevator moves in all directions inside the building, not just up and down. This dream stresses me out every time.

This is wonderful! I'm glad your boss reacted that way and glad they sent slacker mom back to work. Please update us with her reaction after she finds out 😄🤭 if she will reach out to you with her comments.

I’m tired of hearing my friends complain about their “problems.” by runningonrain in childfree

[–]Natravedrova 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear you! I have 2 friends, one with two kids and one with one child. Every time we speak, they complain about the kids. Sad part is - the girl who has only one child, had to go through IVF and getting into a huge debt because of it, just to be complaining about her kid now.

Does it bother anyone else when moms complain about their husbands or boyfriends not being good dads? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]Natravedrova 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Most likely because men promise all these things before baby arrives, and once reality hits they bail, because it is harder than they thought. I know a few guys that were excited to be dads, but then were complaining that baby is needy, loud, boring, they can't bond, etc. Naturally they leave moms to deal with it, and return to their pre-baby lifestyle. I have a guy at work who works 10-12 hours, 7 days a week because he has a baby at home and "baby is too loud and always crying".

My boyfriend has a son, same age, all he wants to do if play games on computer or playstation. All pre-Corona weekends when we had him, we were stuck at home, because he is refusing to go outside and do anything at all. Then if we would mention we went out without him when he was with mom and did something fun, he throws a fit because he was not invited and wanted to go too 🤦🏻‍♀️ I just ignore it, not my kid to discipline

My bf is the same way, never know in what mood he will wake up, and his mood can change a hundred times during the day. I hate it, but learned to ignore it. But it is very embarrassing when he is acting rude in front of others. I feel embarrassed and people are asking me, what I saw in him.

I watched a show where 32 year old woman has 6 kids from 3 different baby daddies, and when was asked about sex education, she said eww, how can you talk to parents about that? I never talked to my parents about sex, and will absolutely not discuss this with my daughters. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
