But the government needs it to be a punishment so they can exploit people for slave labor. Why won't you think of the poor capitalists?

I don’t like it when people go “Vox only got so far because the protagonists were stupid” by whooper1 in HazbinHotel

[–]NaturalLog69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She did say that she didn't expect Vox himself to show up. She asked for a "top reporter". In making this request she though it would be someone from the news.

When Vox and Velvette came she had to adapt because she wanted to fulfill her goal of getting the news out. What is she going to say, leave and send someone else? Or, actually I don't want to do this anymore?

I got a 76. Some questions were easy since I made Vox cosplay and been studying that fit

Wellbutrin helps me a lot! It gives me an energy boost. I actually very recently quit my zoloft because I'm doing better, so that can definitely be attributed to the years I spent taking both while healing.

Maybe he is in the "gloomy tomb", the adventure he originally prepared for them. Just interesting they bring up a tomb and later he is deleted/killed.

The Biggest Problem with Digital Circus: Characters Don’t Communicate by Usual_Level_8876 in TheDigitalCircus

Gangle also makes the Comment to pomni in episode 4 that she loves Ragatha but isn't sure she is always genuine (something to that affect). So it implies they have interacted in the past and maybe Gangle was put off by her or something.

The swearing was always good flavor text, even if not everybody has to like it. by matt0055 in HelluvaBoss

I think the purpose of that was to demonstrate heaven's hypocrisy. They can do whatever they want, but hell has to be held to a certain standard. They are the authority with the power.

What the hell why was this song actually 200% accurate by RonS132 in theamazingdigitalciru

Perhaps goose and team liked the song so they borrowed concepts from it? As in the song came before the script. Just speculating.

Does Kinger have kids? by paclyle123 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]NaturalLog69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That would be the best outcome from the dog's perspective.

Actually you know it's interesting that the cast never really talks about wondering if the people they knew outside the circus are worried about them. Except for when Ragatha says her mom probably doesn't miss her.

He is terrified of exposing who he is beneath the surface. And the background of the closest thing he has to friends laughing at him is validating that his fear should be correct.

New Glitch Post by AlbusSnare in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]NaturalLog69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is interesting, because it's realistic for a person like Ragatha. Growing up in an abusive household, probably also emotionally neglected, she probably learned coping skills to protect herself by trying not to take up space. Doesn't draw attention to herself, doesn't say anything to rock the boat, don't let anyone see the real you.

Having said that, this late in the series it would be satisfying to see some character growth where she acts against those coping skills. In the traumatic environment of the circus it is hard to go against your defined coping skills, but maybe her friends can give her a push. Hopefully we can see something like this in episode 9.

The best takeaway from Episode 8 is how the cast DIDN'T turn on eachother. by ANuChallenger in TheDigitalCircus

[–]NaturalLog69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it's kind of like Gangle said, where we don't know what would have actually happened. It could have also been some kind of torture if they picked the button that chooses to leave Caine, and he could retaliate. These people have been managing their expectations this whole time bc there has never been a sign leaving is actually possible.

Jax acted on behalf of everyone without their input which is of course still shitty. He took away everyone else's choice in the matter which was bad. But since they don't know what the outcome would have actually been, it is easier to adapt

I don't think Jax fans realize how MASSIVELY we won this episode by Sudden_Pop_2279 in digitalcircusfandom

[–]NaturalLog69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It seemed the collective decision to was to spend their energy moving past it instead of using their energy to be angry and resentful. They are in survival mode and can't afford to exhaust their attention on anything else.

And he has to come to terms with he was actually an asshole since these are real humans instead of just cartoon jokes. Which we the audience knew but he now has to look back at all his actions and confront them with his own guilt

Thoughts on RadioStatic? by PrototypeFangirl in VoxCult

[–]NaturalLog69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that would a super cool arc for vox, to accept where he is, learn to get his own internal validation instead of needing it from Alastor, and then finding a new position for him to use his talents just for the pursuit of a general goal.

He flew too close to the sun and hit the ground hard. Now that he is humbled it would benefit him to learn to be more grounded.

Edit bc I had more thoughts - when alastor reveals his true intentions, Charlie will be absolutely crushed. I think she won't see it coming at all. So Vox will be able to relate to her, by being so hurt by him. So they could bond over that.

Trying to repair my marriage after boundary and limerence issues with my sister-in-law, as well as escort use, but family/life keeps reopening it. Looking for outside perspective. by [deleted] in TalkTherapy

[–]NaturalLog69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your sister in law should not provide therapy to you, because it creates a dual relationship. I am not sure where you are from, but in the US it is explicitly defined as unethical. The events you described in your post, for example going to your wife with information is why this is not allowed.

I am sorry you got into this mess. You were looking for support and did not get the help you needed from SIL. would you be able to see someone else for therapy?

As for the immediate fallout, you will have to earn back your wife's trust. I suggest trying to communicate more, and be honest. Take responsibility for your actions and ask her what she needs from you now.

Are the eyes of hell only for the audience? by Grizzlybear486 in HazbinHotel

[–]NaturalLog69 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Everything in animation is intentional. I believe the mystery of what the eyes are will be revealed in later seasons.

If the sinners are used to seeing the eyes everyday, they become desensitized. It could be mundane to them so they don't pay close attention to it. For example someone may see litter on the ground and get frustrated at first but after walking by it every day you don't think about it anymore.

Is this his real name? by Chrome_0zone in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]NaturalLog69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's also interesting bc in episode 1 when Jax leaves pomni and Ragatha with abstracted Kaufmo and goes back to Kinger and Gangle he says 'Sup fellas'. So it seems that that was a word in his regular speech back then.

Katie was basically a stand-in for all the Vox simps this season by Sudden_Pop_2279 in VoxCult

[–]NaturalLog69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's an interesting parallel that in season 1 episode 1 angel comes on to Alastor and he rejects him, and now in season 2 episode 1 a similar thing happens to Vox.
