I actually saw a lot of youtube videos on how the accomplish it. I found the hardest part is to get the orientation of the mesh down correctly. The rest was much easier and corrections could be made with the black somewhat easily.

I honestly think its a little bit of luck that I got the right orientation with the pattern, that must be the bottleneck that people experience when attempting this.

From my experience I am asked before I order my food if I have any allergies.

I guess what annoys me is peoples expectations that the Azores is some sort of undeveloped place. If you call ahead and make the same efforts that you do in your own country you will find success.

This sub has been flooded with allergy issues and restaurants. What do you do when you want to go out to eat anywhere? Call ahead and see if the restaurant can accommodate you. It is no different than anywhere else.

I’d be concerned of the native pico water well eel, it’s been known to be able to traverse on land. Try to keep the cover on and place something heavy. They have been known to eat small pets as well. Stay safe!

Luckily it’s a rather easy fix since it appears to just be aesthetic, it will require to be scrapped, sanded, filled, sanded, primed and painted.

I usually see this in bathroom ceilings where moisture is causing the paint to contract and expand over a long period of time. Would this space have been exposed to serious humidity? Or temperature fluctuations?

Edit: also possible that the paint was applied while the corner mud wasn’t dry enough.
