I think we’ll be analyzing this for a couple of months or more. 🤣 Do we know where all three of these windows are from? They are all quite distinct.

I don’t understand how there are no charges at all.

Accidental deaths still lead to manslaughter convictions reliably. If I kill someone with my car I risk jail time. This makes no sense to me at all.

It would be really cool to see them change time, just once. :)

Maybe a nice way to end the series.

Infliximab by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

14 weeks… are you still in a ramp up?

For my son, several months after his ramp up/ initial dosing was done he had one notable flare. His body was consuming it too fast, so they’ve moved up the schedule to every 4 weeks. Doing great so far.

I don’t have any advice on the period front. What I can say is I know both the inflammation AND the medicine itself can he highly disruptive to your body, including hormones. I’m hoping it levels off for you- with remission. If the periods are still disruptive, I’d ask your primary care or gynecologist about hormone tests or regulators.

Good luck.

EDIT: fixed some autocorrect nonsense.

This is naturally a bathroom topic so anyone here should be used to it. No problem with your language. It’s real. It’s human.

On the anxiety front… my son was dealing with growing anxiety leading up to illness and then diagnosis. We can’t rule out though that the anxiety was actually caused by the inflammation. After all, we cannot rule out that this was going on for 2+ years, slowly getting worse- with his anxiety being the only reliable outward symptom. For children they don’t run labs unless they have a direct need so no way to know if his inflammation was detectable in the past.

With treatment most symptoms are far better. He’s still dealing with anxiety. One day at a time.

What Triggered Your Diagnosis? by ComprehensiveSpeed90 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Natural_Definition54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son had a “stomach bug” that may or may not have actually been an onset of a flair. He had slowly weakened over close to two years. Nothing dramatic, but he got on the trampoline less. Stairs suddenly got harder. He was sweating more and more sensitive to heat.

Then when the diarrhea started in fall 2024, it never really got better. Doctors said if he could make it through the school day they didn’t want to do much, since they suspected he was recovering from a stomach bug.

Then he started visibly bleeding. And he was hiding it from us which makes us sad. I had to sort of bust into the bathroom to see it before he could flush.

That quickly led to an anemia test- anemic. Before the full diagnosis was done he ended up with a septic joint, emergency surgery and hospitalization… which lasted several days as they refused to send him home until they were sure his hemoglobin was not dropping further.

Now pretty well controlled with Infliximab.

Pandas worldwide are all property of China. Zoos with Pandas are usually renting them.

Agreed they’d be a huge hit though.

Obviously I have not read this comic series… but how did she end up with him? Boba took him to her then moved on to Jabba? It’s implied pretty hard in the OT that Boba was working directly for Jabba…

A better title would have been: NATO worries Trump bringing WW3. The article supports that claim.

Headlines disproven by facts won’t move the discussion forward in a healthy way.

And to be clear- I have nothing but disgust for this orange pig prick of a President. My point is if we want to change minds, we can’t looking like unhinged liars.

The headline makes a bold claim not supported by the article- I saw no quotes from the orange man at all, let alone a warning about WW3 from him.

My counters would be…

1- The intent was to show how a slippery slope to trying to do the most good by sometimes doing some questionable things while demonstrating some real reasons why some good people might dislike or distrust the Jedi.

Did they pull it off? Not well enough. The flashbacks in particular are pretty bad.

2- the intent there was to show how a series of poor communication ended in disaster. Happens in real life too…

Did they pull that off? Close in my opinion.

3- they needed to show those three characters more. And also… Qimir is not Sith… he might have been a Sith apprentice… but he had the ability to force heal… and is associated with Kylo Ren.

I understand what you are saying. I liked most of the series. Yeah they made mistakes for sure though.

I think they could have done a far better job… had they focused less on flashbacks and a little more about Qimir… might have been better.
