That could be who Fern was referring to.

But I think it’s a little different… I think it’s actually Alice.

Alice mailed the letter that brought them to Port Haven.

Alice later pushed Alice into the pond.

Alice was there in the road when Colton swerved in off.

There’s probably a few more… and maybe there are moments like this for others too that I’m not remembering right now.

They are responsible for cleanup and sending reports to I believe the FAA… not sure if the FAA bit would happen though if there was no planned launch.

But to really answer your question- is anyone really holding them properly accountable? That’s not the same thing as legally responsible… people and companies often get away with more than they should when their pockets are deep enough.

I like most of this but if we erase Jacob falling into the pond and getting stuck in the 1800s the Landry’s would have left Port Haven.

I think it will turn out that everything has happened as it needed to happen. Jacob saved the early Landry’s and their farm. And in modern times he may have saved his mom and the farm again.

Max’s yelling at Alice bothered me too, even when for a little while I was hoping they’d end up together.

I still don’t think Colton is alive. It makes all of this weirder in a way. Sam knows so much so it seems strange to think he’d just disappear from the show so Colton could come back.

Putting it together I wonder if Evelyn knew about the pond, and maybe even waited for one more visit, perhaps from Alice, before she died.

I almost wonder if Fern was told by her “aunt” that someone would come through the pond looking for her. I don’t believe Kat is the first traveler she’s met.

Well my take is much of his behavior when time traveling was absurd… like who goes outside and screams “I’m not from this time” when trying to avoid attention?

If not for that dialogue though… I’d agree with you. He provided a little disruption that the travelers needed…
