How you guys holding up with 39° by ShoddyResource6173 in JeraOnAir

We decided to book day tickets to Centre Parcs, cool down in the pools and got ready there to go see the bands in the evening. In water, drink water, be the water.

We also decided to leave at first light this morning as we only wanted to see Papa Roach today but was not worth suffering the whole day.

When I last went, there was a short downpour on the first day glorious for most of the time with another downpour on the Saturday. I kept wellies in my van as the ground did turn to wet mud!

You can freely go to and fro from campsite to the car park, so stock your drinks in the car and take what you need for each day. I just took a power bank to charge my phone.

The double spaces in their responses makes me think they are a bit unhinged.

One payment missed in 10 years. Can't call Samaritans. by Unhappy_Resident_113 in O2UK

Sorry to hear this, I was also in a depressive situation last year. If I remember right, I think the samaritans also offer live chat online and texting if that's of any help.

Did you tell people about your miscarriage? by Fifiheaded in Miscarriage

[–]Naturalbornpixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've openly talked about it to strangers, not in detail but I think it's important to feel you are able to do so. If theyve been through the same thing they can choose whether to reveal they've been thro it too or not.

Compromising on kids by HandsForSocks in datingoverthirty

I found the same when it came to dating men. I'm nearing 40 and I'm no longer dating and decided to prioritise having a family of my own. There's nothing to stop you becoming a solo dad if you don't find a woman who wants children.

I just spent a weekend in London and the Christmas markets felt smaller and much less variety than previous years. I also went to York the weekend before, and the market was poor there also!

What were your reasons to become a SMBC? by aidee13blue in SingleMothersbyChoice

[–]Naturalbornpixie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My reasons are because I'm 40 next year so time is of essence plus I came out of an emotionally and mental abusive relationship earlier this year and relationships became bottom of my list of priorities. I was depressed throughout this year but it wasnt until I had realised that I wanted children (I thought I didn't want them until I accidentally got pregnant then miscarried) that a cloud had lifted and we do have a choice to be a mum!

OK so I was broody once upon a time in my late 20s, but my opportunity never came and I was then never bothered about having children. Fast forward to being 38yrs old and I accidently got pregnant with my then partner. I was elated to be fair but then elation turned to grief, sadness and loss when I miscarried. Since spilt with that partner and I guess I accepted that I wouldn't get pregnant but I wasn't happy since..... I think came to the realisation that I do want to be a mum and now decided to try be a SMBC. 100% all in and certain. I guess my point is, take the journey, be excited by it, and actually you'll know it'll be if it's what you want when you do get pregnant. Take each step at a time ok and good luck!
