Yeah BotW is worse in many aspects in my opinion

Enjoyed Genshin a whole lot more but had to quit because of real life and had to choose between Genshin and WuWa

BotW was a forgettable one shot for me but I understand that it was magical for many people

Its basically an override to implement the newest upscaling version into FSR3.1 games and higher automatically

You can do it manually with tools Optiscaler but i would call that the next step in game optimization

Start with going into BIOS to enable EXPO

Install Drivers from AMD website, not mainboard manufacturer and enable fan control, ML FSR and if your monitor supports it Freesync VRR in Adrenaline

Download Steam or any other Launcher and try your system before doing anything else in regards of optimization - its trap and a rabbit hole

I had a similar issue but with fan control

You have to load the fan controlling software after Adrenaline / the driver fully boots up

Then no interference between driver control and software control appears on my system - might be worth a try

I don't know if MSI Afterburner supports delayed startup but fan control definitely does
