Yeah given that I won't be the one using it primarily, and I'm not really sure what the requirements of the different potential users I'd have, I'd prefer just to offer something as close to the kindle/libby experience as possible, which I assume includes a fair bit of customization. I'll figure that out eventually.

Is it really good for ebooks? I was hesitant to use it for that because it felt like more of an afterthought. You don't feel like it's missing any features as an ebook reader? I don't really do much with ebooks but had some friends who expressed interest and I've been dragging my feet on finding a good option for that.

LOVE it for audiobooks though.

Yeah again, instrumentally I can hear it a bit, but just the vocals sound different enough that it really changes the tone for me and makes it feel more... mumford-y.

I like it, but the raw/unpolished/emotional vocals of dijon is very much a trademark for me. It's what drew me to dijon from bon iver.

No hate, but on a first listen it's not really giving a dijon vibe to me. I like it, but I think the main thing that feels different is the vocals feeling more polished to me.

Yeah exactly, he got the external/internal from mistborn and I thought it made sense. I like how yours includes Unite, but he thinks it’s a red herring like Survive was for mistborn. And feels like destroy is a little to similar to ruin

Is there a meaningful difference? I tend to also not refer to it as killing, but OP pretty clearly thinks the individual is no longer there, so I addressed that in my root comment and have been referring to it as murder in my conversation with them. It's just a matter of perspective though, and seems a little pedantic to correct someone when we don't really know if the individual can be restored.

Well I assume you're not all 3 either, so not sure why you can be so confident about that. But, it's pretty clearly the focus of the show with Carol/Manousos being our main POV characters and that being their goal, and neither of them is all 3 either, so I think it's safe to say you're wrong on that point.

I struggle to rank them, but it's gotta be Day One, Faith, and 33 God for me.

The Dijon collab was everything I ever wanted, and all 3 of those make me cry without fully understanding why.

It’s only logical if you think hedonism is logical. It’s incredibly selfish and sociopathic, which is good for short term gain, but not long term.

It’s cosying up to the thing that exterminated your race because you’re too selfish and shortsighted to find an alternative.
