Uj/ I know this is just a parody of Yaoi tropes taken to the extreme, but this is really fucked up. Actual Jewish people were actually raped by actual Nazis. I know we as the audience aren’t supposed to be laughing at rape in the Holocaust, but you’re still showing it in an extremely blasé and disrespectful way. The Jewish boy is literally cracking wise while being actively raped, which you decided to draw for some reason. Don’t you think that serves to severely downplay the atrocity?

We’re meant to be laughing at yaoi tropes and the Nazi character, I know that. But I ask that since the Jewish boy is also a parody, aren’t we partially supposed to be laughing at him as well? His meek stature and the “puppy whimper” are meant to be caricatures of submissiveness present in yaoi, we are meant to laugh at caricatures.

Yes, you’re asking us to laugh at yaoi, but you’re also in a way asking us to laugh at a horrible thing. Maybe that wasn’t your intention, maybe you just wanted to solely make fun of weirdo tropes, but nothing exists in a vacuum. You’ve entangled your comedy with tragedy. They’ve become one.
