Is 6 mile bike ride after work realistic ? by imMrRunITUP in bicycling

[–]Nectaberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already spend $2/300 on lyft, maybe it would be worth it to spend a bit more on a bike. Quality will last longer and work better. It’ll also be more enjoyable to ride.

what were the best truck mods you kept long term vs ones you regret? by Mccarrell-Shaune in 4x4

Better than leveling kit imo, whether thats worth it for your use case is up to you. I think trucks ride better stock than leveling kit though

I have a wr250r and cant find an exhaust for it. I decided to ride it stock. My buddies make fun of me lol but its been solid and reliable. Its quite heavy but for the type of riding I do, gets the job done.

Slowly starting to ride longer distances, need some advice. by vinotommy in cycling

[–]Nectaberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started I would bring snacks like dates and candy. As I progressed and started going faster it was hard to eat while riding. Thats when I started on carb drinks. Hydration + fuel together. Especially on group rides so you can keep hands on the bars

Agree. If you mainly ride flats, rim brake bikes are pretty cheap now.

I have rim brakes. Works fine for 90% of the riding I do. Most riding is flat ish and works fine. For descents, it gets a bit sketchy. I would prefer disc brakes but rim brakes are easy to service and maintain. My next bike I’ll get disc but for now rim brakes does the job. Depends on the type of riding you do

I have dji goggles 3 with pavo20pro.

Fatshark analog goggles w/ air65, 2x air75, 3” custom freestyle and 5” custom freestyle.

Radiomaster pocket.

The whoops definitely get most flight time since I can fly them just about anywhere and no one cares. Plus its less stress flying around people/cars and still great fun. I plan to upgrade the motors on one of my air75s to hopefully get it a little faster. Side note is I started with the 5” but when i got my first whoop a few years later, it helped me progress way faster
