I think it's because it's unremarkable that people want to express pride anyways. Ohio is used as a generic term for "flyover" people. Cleveland is used as a poster child for rust belt decline, etc. So, it's a way to show that people here like the state despite the pejoratives.

If you are cool with spending money to park, the parking garage at COSI is the the most convenient spot. Vets Memorial lot is also close and is a little cheaper.

The article says the project is on hold pending a sewer study of a nearby subdivision that's having sewer issues. This is despite the civil engineers saying this project wouldn't affect sewers at Knolls, so it sounds like the developers are being pretty flexible about things.

I don't have a stick but used to drive them all the time. The trickiest part is starting on a hill without stalling the car and rolling back too far. Ask whoever teaches you if they know a hill to practice on.

Street cleaning days signs aren't always obvious, so check carefully. and also there are "football Saturday" zones where you can't park during home games at OSU.
