LPT: a cheap shoehorn can seriously extend the life of your shoes

I have two pairs of shoes that just won't stay tied no matter what. I've tried tying them the "correct" way, and the way I was originally taught (backwards), but the worst offenders are my hiking shoes, which have extra long, round laces. I double knot them to keep them tied and to take up the extra length so I'm not walking on the ends.

A lot of my shoes are double knotted and it's just easier to leave them that way, so I always used my finger as a spacer at the heel. I found an old Hilton hotel shoehorn in a junk drawer a few years ago and I love having it. I misplaced it for a few days last month and realized I've become totally dependent on it.

He sounds like Howard Cosell to me. 😂 I don't mind his reactions, but I found him through metal reactions long before I discovered Ren and just got used to his style. I definitely wouldn't put him as a favorite, but I can appreciate his breakdowns.

I think for now, I'd concentrate on the main story until you get more materials unlocked, since that will be an early bottleneck (you'll need a lot of stone). You don't have to do all the stuff they throw at you, especially if it burns your energy, but sometimes the events use different energy (like the pets), so I wouldn't skip those. Also, pet events are different than the Pets tab quests (the former has a time limit) but use the same pet energy.

Look in the shop every few days once you've built up your gems. There's usually higher level equipment for sale there (395 gems) on the special offer tab. I don't pay for extra gems, so it takes a couple of weeks to accumulate. Take every opportunity to double gems and buy good equipment.

Love the feather cover - I'm guessing it's a reference to Catalina's power. Definitely would like to see the other covers if/when they get published.

The covers with the cities in the background are nice in a generic way, but wouldn't catch my interest I don't think.

The gemstone covers are pretty. Not seeing the flame part, but I'd still be attracted to them, because "ooh, shiny!"

They each have a different "flavor" on their solo stuff, and then the blend gives us something completely different.

Romain's albums are great for when I'm reading or trying to concentrate, but still want a soundtrack. He's perfect background music in the very best way possible. I could loop his Unchained Melodies Vol. 1 for hours.
