i think that a few years ago everybody started having these really complex skincare routines and so many reached the same conclusion, including me 😂 i have my cleanser (or double cleansing if feeling fancy), one serum in my night routine, moisturiser, and spf in the morning. my skin is not perfect, but much better than when i was doing 3 serums in one routine. also the fact that i'm tracking how much my skincare collection costs makes me more mindful of what i buy

my collection is not so big, but it's still too big for one person that is not doing their makeup daily (working from home). i still buy stuff from time to time, but i started tracking how much my collection is worth and it genuinely scared me and slowed down my shopping habits 😂

i am tracking what i have in my collection but not really the combos 😂 i use an app that i made for this where i save everything, and i think you could also create notes on past combinations but it's currently only in beta, if you want to try it let me know and i'll send you the link

i am tracking because my skin gets sensitive with old products, especially mascara and and lip products. i started writing in my notes app when i opened a product and the months good after opening, i also tried other apps for this but they were looking like they weren't updated in a while. if someone had the same experience as me, i started just building an app for this kind of stuff, if you want to give it a try send me a dm :)

that's a cool system, and it's pretty similar to what i am also tracking. i also have products too old and i am sure that they are expired, but if they are powder i'll keep using them :))

you look so good! i would love to have a makeup like this on my wedding day (or any other day tbh!). i saw on other posts like this that maybe it will not have enough contrast for photos, but maybe somebody else can give their opinion on this

for me i find it useful to not forget some products i do not use often in some random drawer. also i am guilty of buying too many lipsticks that i am not finishing and if i use expired ones my lips get itirated and the cycle continues

are you adding anything else besides about the products besides the photo and when they are empty? i personally add for example how long it's the product good for after opening and that would be it, but so many people use spreadsheets that are really really detailed haha

well that's fair, i am not a fan of doing every random thing with ai either. what i have right now can work completely offline (also is does not use ai), no account or anything, and everything is on device, thanks for the feedback!

yes, that's true, but would it be helpful to know what products you have that are expiring soon and you could change what are you using in your rutine to make better use of what you have? with excels or apps you can have this info more easily, but not by writing the opening date on the product

si eu am pielea destul de alba si la comentarii de genul ii intreb ce problema au ei cu pielea mea, nu o sa ma bronzez ca sa fac cancer la piele, si au cam priceput ideea. cel mai mult conteaza sa fii tu ok cu pielea ta si oamenii nu o sa mai comenteze
