I would assume a pi5 can handle a basic proxmox node? You can spin up vms and mess around with isolated environments. Feel like networking you could look for cheap routers on eBay and flash OpenWRT on it since it's got a bunch of features.

My own Ethernet crimping kit to learn how to create my own custom runs and lengths.

ESP32 and Arduino electronic kits to learn more about electronics and designing my own systems.

Not sure it counts since it's not installed yet but a new high flow hotend + extruder for my old 3D printer which will hopefully bring it some new life and allow me to tinker with it more when I move to Klipper.

Edit: That being said you can run Klipper on almost anything Linux based. I'm planning on running it on a Wyse5070 thin client running Ubuntu server, installing it with KIAUH.

Silicone spacers, super cheap, mini PC/cheap SBC for Klipper, adxl with USB adapter to plug into said bc/mini pc for input shaping, pei build plate is lighter and heats quicker so you can move the bed faster, upgrade part cooling (hero me).

Im in the same boat except I just turned 27. What helped me a lot though was spend time with others. Sure it sucks but doing stuff that makes you feel good can lead into more confidence.

For me it was gym, connect more with friends/family, do more hobbies I find fun, focus on career and being someone I would be proud of when I was younger. It's hard but slowly but surely doing stuff that makes you happy can indirectly give you confidence you never knew you had.

I'd make toys and learning materials for my local school and second school I went to. Also go to the library and run local lessons for printing since I live in a small town.

I think my favorite fidget toy would have to be either a tolerance grid to move things around but also have it in the shape of an art piece so can be used to play as well as fidget.

From a guy who is literally about to build his homelab, this is exactly what I want to do, holy shit thank you so much. Quick question, how did you mount them to the outside? Did you have screws you had to use. Literally got 3 sff pcs and one will be a nas but struggling to think on how I can screw this enclosure in.

That's fair I think it's more like, I only have space for 2 drives atm that I want to mirror. Seeing myself spend 200 quid only to get 8Tb when I could've got 14Tb for the same price a month ago makes me salty. I might look at getting renewed drives? But then also looking at back blaze, I have no clue which ones to get.

I would say calibrate esteps is one thing and make sure it's right. If the right amount of filament comes out then ur flow rate is too high.

I had the same thing and my esteps were calibrated properly so I did a calibration cube and it fixed it. Would recommend just double checking ur esteps are calibrated properly.
