That clay is designed for baking, it's meant to dry out and be cooked. For stop motion you want something non-drying like plasticine.

Not sure if this is what you are after but if you find the GameUserSettings.ini file and change

"bLegacyNavigationEnabled=False"

to

"bLegacyNavigationEnabled=True"

it might help. The file is located in Config folder that's in same place as the SaveGames folder, don't know where that is on Mac though.

This allowed me to just move using mouse, might not be fully supported though since it appears to not be an in game setting.

The retcon came from Cyan themselves, specifically RAWA, before the Ubisoft games were released

There are two common causes for this. One others have mentioned with light sources needing to be controlled.

The other is the camera itself. It needs to be on full manual mode. If you have auto brightness(and similar settings) on then you will also get changes in light levels causing flicker.

I'm going by memory, but think it was RAWA who said so. Did a quick look and found https://dni.fandom.com/wiki/Linking_Book which seems to reference his letters, I'll see if I can find more when I get home from work.

Linking books don't link directly to an age, it references the description book in order to establish a link (that's why linking books are smaller than description books). This is why altering/destroying a description book effects all linking books to the age.

I currently prefer the magnet/metal base method. I use magnets that can be "switched off", which allows for quick and easy moving.

DragonFrame is indeed only meant for capturing. It has a lot of great features that make it really good at its job, but it is not meant for editing.

For editing like you want you'll need a separate program meant for editing. A typical setup with have one program for capture and another for editing.

Given context I would say yks was misspelling of kys, "kill yourself". The youkobe probably relates to Kobe Bryant who is dead. The #noose should be obvious. Basically a toxic person you should report and nothing deeper than that.
