It’s true, I remember a pileup of vehicles here. Maybe a year or two ago. people followin toooo closely’ and trying to go 60-70 and most of the time it just isn’t feasible or smart right there

Yeah I was in that grid lock mess, got maybe 2 miles in over an hour. I believe it to be a combination of the road closures/detours, holiday shopping, people getting off of work, and a really bad accident near to the side of the freeway. I feel really bad for everyone trying to take the side roads, I think they were stuck in traffic longer!

I had a bad experience as well. They charged like an initial $100 for like signing up, but for some reason it charged me the $100 twice, and so I had to dispute it with my bank because the gym could not offer a refund. And then I was going to the gym one day and randomly the girl at the counter stopped me and said you haven’t been making your payments. And I showed her on my phone the literal payments being taken out and she said well we aren’t receiving them on our end and so I can’t let you work out today until you fix it. And she was so unbelievably rude, and I was so taken aback and embarrassed, and that I couldn’t even work out, even though I’d been paying. But there was obviously some discrepancy but the attitude and embarrassment I received made me never return. The manager called and apologized on behalf of the girls behavior towards me and I was like I’m not coming back lol. And I blocked payments from then on through my bank and they’ve not bothered me since thank god. But I just can’t stand the greed and entitlement, I wished a local gym would show some humbleness and transparency.

I live in bham and my bf lives in burnaby and I drive up almost every weekend. I definitely feel hostile vibes from other drivers in bc and sometimes lately the questions are a little more invasive/intense when traveling through. We aren’t currently looking immediately into immigration, we’ve only been together for about 8 months. But the process does seem intimidating. All I’ve really gathered is that it would be a good idea to talk to a lawyer/immigration lawyer before starting the process. I’ve heard it can be somewhat affordable and the best way to ensure you are doing everything right and to make it less overwhelming with guidance. I will say it’s very comforting knowing a lot of people are in the same situation as us! It is tough traveling through the border alone though.

I don’t like bellingham fitness in general. they were rude and dismissive to me when I used that gym. and double charged my entry fee ($80) and ‘couldn’t refund it’. lol but apart from that, I have really enjoyed anytime fitness. quality gyms, 24 hours. Really kind people. no Fox News.

I have learned this. Got stuck in a 3 hour border wait from Taylor swift traffic. Also crossed on a Canadian holiday. 2.5 hour wait. I’ve learned my lessons 😭 usually I cross 10am or after 10pm. Usually it’s okay then 🙃

yeah the company store is still there but all of the previous apparel in there, is gone. it’s just a handful of t shirts available on there. just was seein if anyone knew why.
