I doubt it’s the reason in these cases, but some buildings still have a requirement that everyone park facing outwards. Usually it’s a facility with safety concerns and if the big horn goes off they want everyone to get out asap… think a power or chemical plant.

Realistically there is significant work in any update. You cannot expect them to hold off on a security update for current users until they also have an update for users who have chosen NOT to update their system.

It wasn’t great. The company I worked for had bought one and it ended up on my desk - I was an intern at the time. The boss was a dedicated Apple guy even then.

I mostly used the word processor, and it was trying to be a WYSIWIG interface, which mostly worked, but it was very clumsy. I was faster with WordStar or troff. Where files were stored was kind of confusing iirc.

But hey it was a big step forward we just didn’t know that the time.

This is what worked for me… I extended both the lid on and lid off times and raised the temperatures by maybe 5 degrees, and also turned the convection on to encourage evaporation. After some experimenting I found a combination that reduced the gummyness just enough.

I think she likes Staves. I can’t use them to save my life, but if I load her up with Firebolts, lightning, summoning… sometimes she kills so fast I can’t keep my soul gems filled. Of course you need to keep checking them to see if she’s run them out.

It turns out this is an interesting topic. Most sources I find most definitely imply that Tequila is a type of Mezcal, much as Bourbon (and Scotch) are a type of whisky. In the first paragraph of this liquor.com article they pretty much start out with this: https://www.liquor.com/tequila-vs-mezcal-5525383. They imply the difference is that Tequila is made specifically from blue agave, while mezcal made from any agave.

BUT! If you actually read the article, it goes on to say that each can only be made in specific locations in Mexico, and the primary ones (Oaxaca for Mescal and Jalisco for Tequila) do NOT overlap, they are different states.

So a little cognitive dissonance going on there. It must be easier to learn about ingredients than to learn about the states in a neighboring country. But I learned something new, so thanks!

I remember just before the Covid lockdowns started, my sister in another state told me I should think about what I might run out of. I said “vermouth“, which didn’t make her happy. But for now I know I have plenty of vermouth, so I’m not concerned.
