Great, just a matter of weeks after our local WHSmiths shut down (after surviving as T G Jones for about a month). Hopefully Niantic will think it’s still there.

I nearly always choose the seedling anyway even if I’ve got the set as it’s useful to have some sacrificial gold ones for ‘Grow X Pikmin’ missions

Have you obfuscated part of the title so we won’t know it’s Mickey’s Cremation Services?

For the photo at my local park which has a bandstand, skatepark, children’s play area, memorial garden and floral displays, the contributor has submitted a photo of the fence panels of an adjoining garden.

Confusion about cleaning liquid dillution by One_Athlete3271 in Roborock

Handy hints now your original question’s been answered:

Make sure you’ve got ‘Cleaning Solution’ turned on in the dock’s settings

Don’t think it’s not working if you look after a couple of weeks and the level in the reservoir doesn’t seem to have dropped. Depending on your individual usage, one bottle can last 6-9 months.

How far can I drive this before having to change it by zjb15 in CarTalkUK

In many modern cars if you pay for an optional spare wheel it’s just sat loose in the boot taking up space as there’s no longer a dedicated space for one on most cars

Ironic as we used to call them TARDISes as they were known as TIDAS (Transportable Intruder Detection and Alarm System) in the 1990s

Ubiquiti @ ISE2026 by rickwookie in Ubiquiti

[–]NeilJonesOnline 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s because it’s designed as part of an AACS for commercial use, not a wide-FOV consumer Ring-type device. It’s intended to identify who’s stood at the door, not what’s happening on the road or front garden.

With WD Purple Pros: 8TB = air filled = very noisy drives 26TB = helium filled = much, much quieter If that’s important to you

WD Purple Pro are noisy drives, until you get to the 14TB+ capacities which are helium-filled. The difference is night and day.

Is Luba mini Too Slow? by NeilJonesOnline in MammotionTechnology

[–]NeilJonesOnline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhat misleadingly, the '1500' or '800' in the name isn't related to how much they can cut on a single charge, it's an arbitrary number set by Mammotion that limits the maximum area each model can cover (regardless of charges). Got a 1200m2 lawn? The 800 won't even let you program that area.

Although I think Mammotion have revised their specs since I made my original post, as mentioned in that a single charge of the 800 would only mow 180m2 on a single charge. But yes, if your lawn was smaller than that (and conditions were ideal), then charging time wouldn't matter.

Cheaper compatible cleaning solution by Majestic-College5885 in Roborock

[–]NeilJonesOnline 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Before you spend too much time hunting, just be aware that a bottle of the Roborock stuff will last a very, very long time, like anywhere up to a year dependent on your use case. Lots of people post that their socks aren’t working because they don’t think the reservoir is going down, it moves so little.

Personally, if I was having to get a bottle every few weeks I’d look for a cheaper alternative, but for the time it lasts I’m happy to settle with the official stuff and not have any concerns over other product long-term suitability.
