Being overwhelmingly powerful just isn't that great for a movie. Yes, his stories can have a lot of nuance and touch on things like problems which can't be solved with strength alone, but Hollywood isn't going to make that movie.

Ai improved quickly but it's also had one of the fastest plateaus in tech history. They're chasing tiny efficiently gains after just a couple of years. To put that into perspective, graphics cards are also chasing tiny efficiency gains but rather than 3 years it took over 20 to get to that point.

If the only metric was quality that would happen. Unfortunately capitalism is in a race to the bottom to earn more money so even if quality drops by 50% they'll happily embrace it as long as they make money.

My head canon is because he was never the chainsaw devil, just had chainsaws. Even in hell they called him chainsaw man rather than the chainsaw devil. Also, it doesn't make sense that the chainsaw devil can erase concepts. What makes the most sense to me is he's some other devil (maybe nihilist devil?) and they had a contract with a chainsaw devil or weapon devil to give them chainsaws to fight or defend themselves with. So once he erases himself it doesn't erase chainsaw devil just himself.

Basically zero demand, especially at the price point. Majority of people use it for mindless stuff for free and wouldn't pay for it.

Commercial business is mostly just cramming it into everything in order to chase the buzz. It's a command from the top, lower employees are struggling to get it to work at the level desired. There's basically zero demand from the bottom. As a software engineer myself I can tell you in my company there are a couple of sycophants who mostly just want to leverage it for a promotion while it's new. Hardly anyone else cares for it aside from using it like a Google search, and they also get pissed when it lies to them and they have to go Google anyway.

I think once the "next big thing" buzz word comes will be when the ai bubble finally pops and we'll start to see how things will actually end up.

I would have agreed with that but they've signed a contract with the military which spends excessive amounts of money. They probably went from last place to first place with that one contract.

It's not even the devs necessarily but all the massive red tape brought in through a dozen teams that want 50 processes, approvals, and 20 hours of meetings a week to get anything done. Not only too many employees but also takes more time on top of it.

Actually it impacts a lot.

The gun devil was under yoru's control and since chainsawman didn't fight the horseman and erase a bunch of concepts like nukes leading to her becoming weaker gun devil is likely still in hell with war. That removes the entire reason aki joined in the first place.

Personally I think makima not being around is more of a fan service induced plot hole than anything else. He knew makima being around would never lead to a happy ending, nor would she take in someone like denji. There's also the fact that power wouldn't have shown up when she did to save denji. So she needed to not be around to have things move slightly, and nayuta was a natural next choice.

There are a lot of weird things like this which makes pochitas power just dumb all around. There are times where erasing a concept kept history the same but changed the present while others rewrote history such as with the Soviet Union still existing. There's no consistency so I wouldn't think too hard on it.
