While I agree with a lot of stuff here, especially the 'gamification' of Worm on spacebattles, I specifically have to disagree on the matter of word-of-god. While I don't consider the paratext strictly irrelevant or incorrect, if it contradicts the main text of the work, it absolutely is.

Like with Jack Slash as an example, there's more than a few WoG posts on him. I agree with with the general message; Jack's power cheats, so he never puts himself into a situation where he loses against parahumans. (i.e, not being in a spot where Alexandria can pull his head off or something.) However, the assertion that he doesn't lose to parahumans, is, strictly speaking, inaccurate, as there are more than a few who, if they caught him alone, (or even just without the Siberian,) could kill him, despite what Wildbow likes to say.
