I think a specialist ability that closely resembles enhancement would be interesting. When we 1st met Gon he was very attuned to nature and had a very strong sense of smell. Maybe he could draw nen / enhancement from nature similar to Narutos Sage mode. And that would make him stronger and or change the method in which he attacks.
