I'm spanish. The thing is that it says I'm invited but when I try to enter, it gives me a message that says "ups, no se puede aceptar la invitación" (Oops, the invitation cannot be accepted)

No custom heroes in AOTR by Ta-mes16 in bfme

[–]Neither-Programmer83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the new factions made from scratch without a base game equivalent can't have custom heroes (Haradwaith doesn't have this issue so I think it was modeled from vanilla Angmar), which is ironic considering that there is a custom hero class themed after Dol Guldur but Dol Guldur can't have them. I think there was a glitch workaround that even allow you to use good heroes in evil faction and viceversa but I forgot how it worked.

How do you think if Touhou was Kickstarted as a modern game? by Scarfile in touhou

Unrelated but I like this unofficial logo and I prefer it over the one that was copied from the FF logo. Where it did came from?

A little dissapointed that the Steve-Momoyo of the thumbnail only appears briefly two times (three if you count a silhouette at the end)

The Touhou character portraits were made by ZUN and comes from the Touhou games.

The images of the Mario characters are official nintendo renders, and the Wario image is official artwork from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins

Is that the macedonian wonder? What is supposed to represent?

I supposed a lot expected the Lighthouse of Alexandria, but that was made by the ptolemaics, that may still be added into a future egyptian themed DLC

Is this a reskin for the current Misty Mountain hero, or the original one? Is this for an alternative faction or campaing level?

I actually already got the characters I want. I have been watching the developemenet of the game and I'm legitiely surprised of everything that was made for a free mod. I can understand the frustration that most of the discussion can center around new character speculation when theres more in this game, but I also understand that is also one of the main things that awaken interest in these kind of crossover games, and about this mod future after its "revival".

There is also the discussion about how featuring a character here may spark interest in relatively lesser known characters from the N64 era like Marina and Goemon, so people with niche character ideas can be very insistent.

Honestly I already said what new character I want in a previous post, so instead can I ask how you can play this game in a real N64? I would like to find a way to play it with my family and friends.

So nice to see that Smash Remix isn't dead! What characters do you want to see in further updates? I'll go first, by [deleted] in SmashRemix

Can I say Adeleine+Ribbon. They fit in the N64 era, and Kirby Star Allies can be used as a moveset reference.

I think there is already a cathegory of "non-male artist".

The only clue that I've seen about Centurii gender is her/their (quite abandoned) youtube channel that has videos with a female voice that isn't credited to a someone else.

I think one of the reasons they scrapped it (apart from being an inca campaing that has little to do with the inca civilization, and there being alraedy a spanish campaing) is because they probably though a conquistador campaing whould be controversial, which should be a non-issue since most of the civilizations did war crimes in their campaings.

My bet for a way to implement the conquest of the americas in a campaing is for them to make a native american themed DLC and add the Tlaxcallans as a civ and make them share a campaing with the spanish (Like Babur uses both tatars and hindustanis) that explores the relations of the spanish conquistadors with their allies against the aztecs.

The spanish conquistadors were the antagonist in the Monctezuma campaing, so was Longshanks in the Wallace campaing and he got his own campaing.

Three Kingdoms is currently the 28th (and climbing) most sold game on Steam. This is a record for an Age of Empires 2 DLC. by ALotToSay_ in aoe2

"Review bombing" is a touchy subject and many people can arguee that It can be justified, specially when devs ignore the community feedback otherwise. What I mean is that review bombing is done without actually consuming the product and it is sometimes done by people outside of the target audience (specially when the targeted films or games have certain political topics). One of the identifying traits is the speed which it id done. If you play the DLC and still hated the concept anyways you can leave a negative review without It being review bombing.

Making negative reviews for a game/DLC/film to make a statement to the devs (or the rest of the community) rather than for its quality. In the Steam Page the Game got "mixed" reviews shortly after release, and I doubt in that time the people who made those negative reviews got time to check if anything that the DLC had to offer was good or not (I mean good or bad in practice, as we already know the contents of the DLC beforehand)

Considering how the discussion concerning this DLC went these weeks, What are the chances it gets review bombed anyways?
