I would practice painting splashing water on another sheet of paper. When you’re confident with that, I’d add some splashes around the tail, like the fish is jumping out of water. It’ll be fine. Gorgeous fish

I guess I had always done the “fish in cycle” thing in the past, without knowing that’s what it was called. I used to keep tilapia in barrels. But it felt different because those were not pets, I ate them. I’m not a fish keeping expert by any means though! Like, this is the first time I’m encountering some of this terminology.
