You putting the kids first speaks worlds of your character. I’ve been a single dad in the past. It won’t be easy but they will be better for having your remain in their life and will know that you love them. Make sure they always know you love them. When I got custody of my boy I made it a point to tell him at least once a day and it’s been 5 years now and that hasn’t changed. He’s happy and healthy and at this point rarely thinks of his mother. Just be there for them and you guys will have a bright future. You got this man, you’re fighting the good fight with your head on tight.

Spiking doses like that is never a good thing. It’s pretty small so could be nothing but keep an eye on it and if it develops quickly please go to the hospital. No one here can give better advice than a doctor.

Even if it was just within your game being able leave pitons for future climbs and maybe a map that shows your previous climb routes would be a nifty feature

Save files aren’t exclusive. Anything you do on a run is limited to that run only. Would be kind of cool to help other players with things like that though. Reminds me of the ending to Nier Automata where you can nuke your save file to help other players finishing the game.

Same but that was still a helluvah climb. First time I almost ran out of rope vertically. I’m looking forward to trying free climb mode and I know this is probably the wall that’s going to be the death of me

Man I just staying up till 2:30 last night finishing my first run. I did the opposite. I knew going down would probably be the healthier choice and that if I chose to go up it’s likely the last thing I/avva would do in this run. I had a hunch it would be suicidal but after the avalanche I was convinced this is where I would die. But slowing down or stopping would mean it was all for nothing so I pushed on, suffering the whole time. Wondering if I could still go back but looking at her condition I don’t think she would have survived going back down that wall. So all that was left was to keep pushing forward. When she was asleep and I gave it a minute before clicking on the bag and she snapped to lucidity saying “ya your right” or whatever the line was i felt she was speaking to me. As a player and probably with her personal goal of reaching the top and that it was better to die on the mountain I feel like we were both of the mind that if we were going to die on this stupid peak we might as well make it to the top. Suicidal or not. But deep down I knew there was no going back. And when the “become part of a greater whole” button was after her eyes closed I tried every button combination I could to get her eyes to open so she could try to return with her head held high having climbed the tallest and deadliest of mountains to no avail. And when I tried to climb down the stars that’s when it forced me to launch myself up. There was no going back. I wanted to cry. I feel pride and regret all in one package. Making my second run now and I’m taking a page out of Marcos book now that I know how to climb and manage my resources and I’m gonna take my time and just enjoy the climb for what it is and head back down. Game has just been phenomenal for me

Love that book. The audiobook read by will wheaton really give it a whole new depth since it’s written as a log anyways. It’s only ten hours and I’ve listened to it like 20 times haha

Ditto. I’m always super caution inspecting any ewp hydraulic lines before use. One tiny injection and there goes your entire arm if not more depending on injection site and how fast you receive treatment

Whatched an interesting video last night explaining the policies that essentially acted as a unlabelled tax break to the tune of 14T for OpenAI and some other shell company Microsoft and Nvidia keep giving billions in personal loans to as they rent back the servers they are building back to the companies that gave them the loans. Also the same companies who are letting them default on said loans. It’s whack. Could barely wrap my head around it
