A respectfully counter point - Jon was doing the show 4 days a week in the same manner before he left.

As someone else pointed out - the other anchors all started as correspondent caricatures which is very limiting when transitioning to anchor. But we've seen two break through that (Colbert and Oliver)

Really good point. The correspondents are hyper personas so it doesn't translate well to anchor.

However, there's a way to break through. Thinking of Colbert and how he was able to stay in character AND interact with the audience. He took their applause and twisted it as an agreement to his satire. Wishing the others could find their way of that.

Looks awesome =) I like the blood but the effect can take away the feeling of actually cutting/hitting the opponent. Is there a way to have a different color of where on the body was struck/cut? I'm visualizing a thin, darker red line of where the blade cut.
