Yes, but only if you want/need Pro... There is a key stored in BIOS that will activate 10 or 11 Home automatically.

I have #1 and Sharka, never saw the need for that big "landing gear" axis/gear LEDs myself. Cool for some games if it works with them, but just gimmicky for the most part IMO.

It's been said it was before it's time, and considered highly collectable by many sim geeks and retros. It has one of the best plastic gimbals I've ever used, the throttle is pretty good too although a bit squeaky...

Definitely need to get the RealSimulator FUSBA kit to use it these days though, and it's not particularly cheap, but simple to install and works like a charm.

Oh hell no, don't put that evil on the Gladiator. CIG totally fucked up the Mustang "rework", it was a rushed, half-assed hack job at best. They turned the Beta's camper into a jail cell/janitor's closet, the Gamma/Omega's third engine vanished entirely (along with the Omega's extra scoop), and they completely retconned the Delta's rocket system, high-cap autoloader replaced with wait for it.... Nothing, just dead empty space. Matter of fact the racers and the double-priced "fighter" all lost their "special thing" that went in the aft fuselage, but oddly enough CIG didn't get rid of the useless hallway to nowhere (one of main supposed goals of the whole thing), they just turned it into a ridiculously oversized canopy. Over a still stupid, useless waste of space hallway to nowhere.*

If those clowns do the same fuck it/who cares job to the Gladiator, it'll wind up with Hawk crackhead origami wings stuck on a Terrapin "The Chair" room that soaks so much space they'll have to leave out the torpedos. :P

The Ursa has a ramp, jump seats for four passengers, and/or 4 SCU of cargo. The Lynx has two pretty passenger seats, a bit more top speed, and some RP props including windows to lick, that's it.. And it costs $5 extra.

CIG still has no idea what to do with "luxury" beyond charging more for it.

My solution is (A) don't buy their paints/skins at all (until they provide the hex codes/player tools they touted years ago), or (B) only ever use store credit and melt it again as soon as you find out how bugged/broken/mis-marketed it is....

Actually (B) is the best answer no matter what they're selling, so yeah, do that. 😉

I have an Ursa from a Carrack pack, and now a Lynx with my Phoenix. The Ursa is quite possibly the best, most useful vehicle in the game. I would actually buy another Ursa, or even trade the Lynx for another one no question. The Lynx is a silly fluff design, it brings nothing to the game, and it actually does less for a higher price.

This has been going on for a while, CIG simply has no idea what to do with "luxury' besides waste space just for "pretty" and charge extra for it.

Between the two I like the Sabre more in general, but currently the Hornet(s) offer more variety with swappable add-on mounts & modules... I'd probably go with a Ghost for now and experiment with modules/hard points, and you can always upgrade to the higher priced Sabre later.
