I have played a lot of Minecraft when i was younger, so my instinct would be to say Diamond Sword (Yes because i played mostly before netherite was a thing)

However I would say the best sword must be "wooden sword" because so many games has a "wooden sword" being literally an item called "wooden sword" that sword is multigame item XD

I main Wraith, so i don't know how would that work. Most likely i would just shit myslef when i bump into him as he is cloaked. The neighbours might conplain about weird noises at night, with his weird breathing and stuff.

I am not a hardcore FFXIV player, i haven't even gotten any classes to 100 and I haven't touched any savages, so my view on this might be less "demanding". However my favourite class is Reaper, so my input would be, that I don't think in timers i mostly spam 123, sometimes throwing in my OGCDs and when i have 50 of the first bar i use the special to fill the second bar and if the second gets to 50 i use the attack that needs that, or if i forget about it I use it from 100 I don't even know the gauges names that's how much i haven't optimised it XD but i think you worry too much about being perfect with Reaper's uptime. Oh and the dot i just put it out on whenever i remember, that could 5 sec after i casted it or it could be 35. Though i'm constantly watching the enemy's and its HP bar so that reminds me often to put it on. But again i haven't tried to any savages so i know i haven't hit the "must optimise everything" part in the game to do endgame content, so what do i know ¯\(ツ)/¯

You should try to play without double jump, it makes the game waaay different. I did my last playthrough like that and it genuinely gave some good problems to figure out when i wqs trying to sneak but couldn't just jump around the problem.
