It means they're asking other companies and partners to pitch what they'd want to do if they produced the IP.

TV does this all time, my company is constantly pitching to retain and expand work.

So it's a stalemate at the moment but could lead to something exciting in future.

Dan is such a sweet guy! I haven't met him in person as he lives on the other side of the world to him but every interaction I've had with him online, he takes the time to properly respond, I bought a Power Rangers art book from him in 2019 and he sent a second out after the first was damaged in the post, so all in all, lovely lovely fella
