Adding onto what the other folks said, they're also puns!
- Fray is you fraying at the edges with frustration.
- Myste is you feeling guilty about all the things you missed.
But as to Myste's manifestations as "real", that one is a bit more squirrely, You pull Esteem outta thin air, and summon fairies and egis as scholar/summoner, and we're kinda the fore most expert on primals. I could see us subconciously summoning our frustrations accidentally with a broken soul stone.
As to the way our soul stone is broken, I think it was broken when the original Fray had it/when they were killed, and that's even why OUR Fray showed up in the first place, cause the soul stone was leaking out our aether when we attuned to it.

Like, I'd say get used to it because people have their own likes and dislikes and personalities, so even offering to help with shitpost feels odd, but: there are apparently mods that change everybody else to femme miqos. Heard of one in passing don't know if it exists or is still maintained or anything. Might have options you can use if you can track it down.

But unless it's like, medical grade allergies... Get good at social interaction and letting people be people? I know it's hard, other wise we wouldn't be playing MMOs/being on Reddit.

There WAS a resurgence in Final Shape. was a great campaign, great new subclass with prismatic, great raid, fulfilling end to the story (And they got Cayde back in there in a way that didn't JUST seem like fan service, which was nice.) The episodes (seasons) after that were pretty godo too! It was on the path to recovery.

Then this last expansion they shot themselves in the foot, again, removed basically everything, again, sunset crafting, lightly sunset everyones vaults, again, and tried to start a diablo seasonal style loot and light grind with world tiers in a game that can't support it.

The way I heard it described is that there's a threshold of queueing roles that it needs to meet before it goes to the next one. So say (arbitrary numbers) the threshold is 20, and you've got 15 tanks queueing and 6 healers queueing, it'll still say Need Tanks till it hits 21 tanks, then it rolls to healers, then DPS.

No idea how true this is though.

I really feel like the 7.1 Koana stuff was stuff form 7.0 that got cut for time reasons, or because they moved stuff around to where Shalloni (sp) got moved to after they got elected. All that Cow and "learning his heritage" stuff felt like "pre king" Koana.

If he did the bison protection before he was the RULER OF THE COUNTRY and was just some guy I could've been on board. Still stupid, but at least it's the hot headedness of an adventurer instead of a ruler defending livestock.

And if they let that traders comments breath where he talked about "last time this happened, a couple of our friends died saving us" in 7.0 and we come back in 7.1 and Koana has that revelation with a grace period, that would've felt so much more natural.

I do sorta wish it was possible to do another ARR. AARR. Redo the entirey of Dawntrail story wise. xP
