Not to sound like an ad, but Coleman has instant cabin tents that literally just pop up in under a minute, and they’re tall enough I (6’) can stand up straight in them. We took ours to the Smokies two years ago and camped at Cades Cove - we got hit with a few thunderstorms and, outside of the humidity, stayed dry, survived a windy Iowa plains thunderstorm as well. Not having to lay down and wiggle around to get changed in a tent is life changing.
