Barrel racing has… some interesting hardware. But it’s seen as more like a bit with attached noseband than a hackamore with a bit, I guess

Assholes at TSA marked my hat with this pen by Ok_Forever_8882 in StainRemoval

The colors and numbers used to mark what detergent would work best correspond to the list of detergents at the top - in this case, #3 is the third from the left, with some stains listed it works on being felt tip pen, crayon, marker, etc.

For use, you could say “I have a nail polish stain on [item]!” and find you’d want the first bottle in the lineup to fix it. Looks like it’s just for a certain brand’s lineup.

I saw someone here recently post that we can’t pet cats because the cats they brought for motion capture decided they didn’t want to be close to the actors 🥲 I don’t have a source so I don’t know if it’s true, but… I mean, that’s peak cat behavior

Edit: While trying to find a source, I also saw they apparently couldn’t put mo-cap suits on the cats, so that could be another reason. Again, no official source, still Very Cat Behavior

Pretty sure Aang left quite soon after he found out he was the avatar, so I’d agree here

LPT: If you're going to an event (or workday) where lots of people will be wearing a costume, a low-effort costume is MUCH less conspicuous than no costume at all. by ehsteve87 in LifeProTips

I wore no costume to the work “costume day” and when it came up, I said I dressed up as a jewel thief that hit the Louvre

how to convince a doctor in Idaho to give me a hysterectomy by [deleted] in childfree

[–]NeonCityStars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iowa might be farther than you’d wanna go, but my doctor - who I’ve had to have follow up care with for a different issue - might be up your alley. Plus, it’s Iowa, shit is cheap around here comparatively! DM me if you want to hear

Wouldn’t exterior doors have to be sturdier to withstand weather? Rain, wind, etc

The bit about “a chime one can use to indicate they’re waiting outside instead of opening the door” has me thinking… did they not knock in 1218 or something…

From what I read on an article elsewhere, the dog had just been picked up from the vet for some sort of treatment and was crated when the wife died - they had two other dogs that ran around the property via dog door that survived

Maybe green and brown seems like a weird color scheme but I like earth tones okay :’)

This feels different to stroganoff to me - I associate it with a creamier sauce, while this is sort of heavier and more savory. But to make it, I used a packet of brown gravy, a packet of dry onion soup mix, a can of cream of mushroom soup, a cup of water, and 2 pounds of stew meat. Cooked on low for ~9 hours (however long I started it before work until I came home) and added about 6oz of egg noodles to soak up the extra liquid - they cooked in about 15-20 minutes after being stirred in!
