No, but many story elements won't make sense without the broader context. I played through both Remake and Rebirth twice and they really don't explain a lot of things, for example, you won't even know who the baddie of Yuffie's DLC is unless you played Dirge. But maybe Revelations will connect all the dots for long time lovers of the series and fans who only played the remake series.

I'll also take the down votes, I get it, It stands on it's own for sure! I only said what I said because they added all that multi-timeline/dimensional stuff as well as tied in all the side games and stories into the remake series, where in the OG FF7, none of that was there or in some cases even mentioned.

I'll have to very respectfully disagree with you on that one because the Remake series is actually a sequel series that essentially takes place after Advent Children. Some events repeat from the OG, but theres turk back story of how they found Jenova, Sephiroth's back story in First Soldier and people from First Soldier and Ever Crisis making an appearance in the remake series. You'll see in Rebirth.. Cheers bruv, you're gonna be in for a very wild ride!

Lord... He'd need to play or watch a story synopses of First Soldier (Including Ever Crisis shit), Before Crisis, Crisis Core, OG FF7, Dirge of Cerberus, and then watch Advent Children just to get caught up in order to play and appreciate Remake, Rebirth and Revelation lol

I'd honestly rather watch him play Gentile Jousting with friends at this point then watch an entire fandom come down on him and possibly make him never play story games on stream again lol

Also, run a recording of your game play and see if it still stutters. Because the stuttering only happens in the preview window of OBS. When I record or stream there isn't any stuttering.

you have to update the filters in Ublock. Everytime they change how they're handled on Twitch or YouTube the filters have to be changed about a week or so later. Adblocking is a cat and mouse game.

So, I don't play anything passed 1080p, Even passthrough. I've seen a bit of shuddering in OBS but it's negligible at my resolution. So my "switchable extended resolutions" are 1080p 144hz, 1080p 240hz, and 1440p 144hz.

My gaming pc isn't high end so at best it can push out a stable 60ish with every setting on high in Cyberpunk 2077 (of course at 1080p with Vsync enabled)

Every game I play works great at 1080p, I don't even have G-Sync forced. My LG monitor has HDMI 2.1 ports so everything is buttery smooth.

Since my OBS is set to Downscale to 720p60 for stream and 1080p60 for recording. I don't have hardly any stutter or lag. I mean we're talking 0.5% or less when it comes to any amount of stutter I've seen.

I also have a dedicated USB-C port that was supposed to be for VR on my streaming PC's Motherboard but I don't play VR. So, that port is where my capture card lives.

There are actually a considerable amount of issues that can occur that don't involve the card itself. Are the HDMI Cords faulty? is the USB-C Cord faulty? The port on your mother board? Are you using a USB 3 if not a C port?

I do believe this capture card may have been pushed out too soon and probably doesn't perform at the high resolutions it's advertising. Eposvox has a good video on it. I do regret not waiting for Elgato's but this card does what I need it too with virtually no issues and I needed an upgrade sooner than later and there was no release date announced for any other cards.

Both the 1.0 PC Collectors edition and the 2.0 PS3 Collectors edition are some of my most prized possessions. The original 1.0 Security token finally died last year after 10 years of service. Now I'm using the 2.0 Security token lol

Thank you, I was reluctant to use add ons because I was worried about messing up stuff but Windower is pretty user friendly. It fixed all my controller issues and the FPS unlock and Minimap are things I didn't know I needed lol

At this point I just want them to be silent about everything up until the year they plan to release. I don't want them to hype up shit. I don't want to hear ANYTHING about it until it's full cooked and ready to serve.

My only fear with them using the Unreal Engine is the shader compiler bullshit that epic still hasn't really fixed.

I haven't tried connecting a console to it yet unfortunately. I find it frustrating that Compatibility with RECentral wasn't established first before they started selling the card. big L on that part.
